Un hombre se va a vivir a la casa que ha heredado de su primo, fallecido apenas un mes antes de forma repentina. Al instalarse se da cuenta de que su primo pasaba prácticamente todo su tiempo en una extraña buhardilla de la casa, que tenía una ventana redonda de cristal opaco. Poco a poco empieza a escuchar ruidos misteriosos a los que no consigue encontrar explicación y a sentir una presencia que le observa, por lo que se decide a investigar en profundidad la buhardilla y qué era lo que su primo hacía en ella, allí descubre cosas insólitas y aterradoras.
