I found the book to be very focused on what we should not do, and did not give enough guidance about what we should do and especially what we should eat. The biggest challenge for me in overhauling my diet and helping my hormones is knowing what to plan for each individual meal. Those may be in the enhancements, but they were not in the audio.

More of what we should, less of what we shouldn't.

It is a good starter diet but can not be maintained for proper long term eating because it is very expensive to buy that many vegetables every week. I did lose 8 pounds. I felt very tired not getting my caffeine fix everyday so I went back to drinking at least one cup daily.

Loved this book it was narrated very well and I enjoyed the content. I am going to order it in paperback so that I can highlight some of the things she recommended. Chalked full of information.

Mispronunciation of medical terms ruined this book for me; it made me cringe and I had to stop listening. Normally I give one star if I cannot finish, but I think this information is important and presented in user-friendly way. Directors need to look up words that are not in their daily vocabulary so they can appropriately coach the voice performer.

I do not think this reset is too hard. As far as I got, it seems about the same reboot of Standard American Diet as other resets. Compared to other resets, this one seems to have elimination diet built in.

If you want to cook the same food for an entire family, you’re definitely going to get push back. It’s only 28 days she’s talking about. I think the difficult thing is going to be maintaining the changes long term. Basically, the rec seems to be eat 1# veggies every day & don’t eat processed food. Not eating processed food in America is very hard. Most of the food in grocery stores is processed. Food on TV advertised is processed. A lot of shortcut food is processed. I think a lot of us have to change our relationship with food.

This is a great book for anyone who is experiencing hormone related health concerns. Dr. Sara is very well researched and offers a solution to what you will not find in conventional medicine. I only wish she would have narrated
the book.

As far as a book goes I feel the information is very helpful and beneficial. However for an audible it is difficult to follow. There are a lot of times when rambling formulas about how to calculate BMI etc are given and the narrator does a poor job. Also there are too many times when the author refers you to the reference guide which obviously you cannot do on an audio.

I read a couple other reviews that said this was not an appropriate book for audio, because there is so much detailed information presented. However, I found it to be helpful because diet books are invariably tedious, and I get overwhelmed or bored, and there’s always something else I would rather be reading. The narration was great, the language was friendly and familiar, but there is an authority of science behind it. The additional material that comes with this audiobook is substantial to the point of being excessive: 60 pages is a lot to print out! But it’s nice that it is provided.

I knew I was having problems with my hormones. I kept talking to everyone and asking for help. Your book validated what I was feeling! I enjoyed how listening to the audible allowed me to just start without thinking too much. It was a gradual process and something that I can do for the rest of my life. I have mental clarity because of your work.
