I truly enjoy Tracie Peterson's writing.

Tracie never fails to bring stories that have drama and excitement without crossing over that line into raunchy soap opera. Her books would be great choices for a Christian book club. Her characters are always bringing the focus back to God. Her writing is filled with scripture. I can't wait for the next book....and the next.....and the next. God bless you, Tracie!

Great story line but...

I thought the storyline was really, really good and the narration was good but with some voices being a bit screechy. The problem was the long, drawn out explanations of the characters thoughts and feelings repeated over and over. Also, i really appreciate the religious aspects and encouraging love for God but this was almost overboard with the author beating the reader over and over with it. Anything can be overdone, even a good thing!

Love and Adventure in the Settling of Montana

This book was a great conclusion to the Heirs of Montana series. Tracie Peterson never disappoints and this book focuses on a family who settles in Montana and works to build their ranch and establish their family. The dangers and joys of establishing this untamed territory gives the reader a glimpse of life during this period of history. This is a great read for anyone who enjoys Christian historical fiction.

good story, awful narrator

I have enjoyed Tracy's books and this one was just as good. I'm from montana so it was even better.
the narrator: I struggled with her raspy voice and the way she tried to change voices for each character was awful.
as much as I enjoy Tracy's books if this is the same narrator I might have to pass. to bad.

Slow moving

Would you listen to The Hope Within again? Why?

Although the book started off slowly, I enjoyed it. The book held my interest til the end. All the characters were real as well as their experiences. I would recommend this book if one enjoys reading about the pioneer way of life and likes Christian fiction.

Tracie Peterson delivers again

I have not found a Tracie Peterson book that I haven’t liked. She pulls you in to the story and makes you completely invested in the characters. The only negative thing I have to say is that I did not care for this narrator. I didn’t think her voice suited the characters that she was portraying.

The performance is terrible

The book is great but the reader is bad. She is very wooden and unnatural sounding.

God’s Amazing Redemption Grace

I liked the way Tracie kept me at the edge with the suspense of the wicked darkness and the grace and light of the gospel that overthrown the darkness.

no hope

I had a really hard time with the narrator's voice and the way it was read. I might have enjoyed it more if the book was read by someone else.
