Definitely need to read

I loved the storyline of the book, and the narrator’s definitely helped the book seem like it was so real with all the feelings they used in their voices. I recommend this book to anyone who loves listening to books who tug at your emotions.

What a GRAND story and performance!!!

The Billionaire’s Baby, an Audiobook by L. Steele, is book 5 in the Big Bad Billionaires series!!! Continuing the stories of The Seven….this one follows Arpad and Karina. Boy!!! Has Arpad ever met his match with the feisty, no nonsense Karina!! She is hired to update the security on his boat…and she ends up an accidental stowaway!!! They can’t stand one another….but, neither have a choice…yet!!

This story was so absorbing and delightful….both characters are strong and determined…perfect foils for one another!!! LOVED IT!!!!!

This story was narrated by Shane East and Ava Lucas….Shane ALWAYS does an incredible job with his performances!!! But, Ava Lucas had me reeling with her snarky rendition of Karina!! They both nailed it and made this story an absolute GEM TO LISTEN TO!!

These are so fun, sexy, sinful

Love getting to know the characters, sassiness of these strong women, all that they get into and the men learning what they need…. And then there’s the wow factor… enough said, just read or listen to them all.

The story was ok. Male narration a little corny at times. To be fair, I read so many romance novels, that it's hard to impress me.

What a great listen!

I read this book when it was first published in June 2021. I loved it then. But I wish I could give this 6 stars. Listening to this story complete with all the appropriate accents makes it fantastic. Arpad is such a stubborn man. And Karina is just as bad. They dance around each other. Each trying to get and keep the upper hand. L. Steele has created a wonderful world where we get to watch these powerful men meet their match. I highly recommend this audio edition.

I love, love, loved Arpad and Karina's story. Explosive, drama, sizzling, amazing characters and chemistry. Off the charts good!

The Billionaire's Baby (Big Bad Billionaires #5) Oh my heart!!! Arpad and Katrina's Enemies To Lovers Fake Marriage Romance checks off all the right boxes. Aphrodisiacal, betrayal, explosive banter, suspense, unwavering characters and unexpected twists. Told in dual pov, with well developed characters, well detailed world building descriptions and settings, and exemplary writing style. I loved the cameo appearances of the seven and their significant others. Arpad's grandma was brilliant and I loved meeting the families. Dripping through the pages is an addictive writing style with artistry and passion. I loved the epilogue and looking forward to listening the next book in the series which is Edwards.

Shane East, Ava Lucas dual narration is pure perfection. Shane East is the epitome of a brit accent with a sensual vibe. He leaps in and vocalizes the characters and their emotions. I loved his performance of Arpad. Ava Lucas is exactly how I would picture Katrena. Her inflection is bold and exuberantly daring.

I can’t understand the negative review of this story I thought it just as good if not better than the others.

Good narration, barely acceptable story

I don’t know what to think of this book. I know what to think of its main male character though–Arpad was an asshole. An unredeeming asshole.

I didn’t mind his kinks–to each their own–nor his need to keep control. His past was explained a lot, with many details, and you kind of get where he comes from. But when his kinks challenged Karina’s consent, and it happened a lot, I felt uncomfortable. It was rape-y.

Even more uncomfortable, Karina accepted how he challenged her boundaries because she was attracted to him. What? No! They didn’t even talk about love, it was just lust. They only had bad words for each other, especially Karina for Arpad. So she obviously thought he was a bad man, but since he was pretty, she let him do anything he wanted to her? Nope, I didn’t buy it. Side note: it wasn’t a healthy representation of BDSM relationships, because of the consent problem, and because there was no aftercare. Literally, Arpad doesn’t care much about Karina after the deed is done.

Nor did I buy the romance. Sure, Arpad’s trauma can explain why he’s so guarded, but not being able to express his feelings, when he keeps thinking he has feelings, it became annoying quite fast.

As for the whole story, it was mostly erotica. The plot was paper thin–there’s a hidden connection between Karina and Arpad, but it isn’t explained before the end of the second act. The rest was the alternation between sexy scenes full of dubious consent, and scenes where the characters were mad at each other. I saw no love here, thus I couldn’t relate to the characters after a while. I mostly wanted to slap their face.

On the plus side, the narration was good. Both narrators are exceptional professional and gave their whole to this book. But the writing wasn’t up to par, and the many OMGs didn’t sound good in audio. Good narration, barely acceptable story.

A fantastic story

Book 5 in the series. It can be listened to as a stand-alone. The author wrote a strong, well detailed story , with a couple you can relate to . The characters are engaging. This story has light bdsm
Hero is Arpad. Heroine is Katrina . They are stuck on a yacht with no reason.

Wow!!!

Just... wow!!! I loved all the books in the series so far, but this... it blew my mind! Arpad and Karina are one explosive pair, with lots of emotional baggage they have to unload in order to finally find their way to each other.

Since I'm trying to be spoiler free, all I can say about this newest installment in the series is that it's a MUST READ! The characters are amazingly well-developed and the storyline has such unexpected twists, that it'll have you at the edge of your seat. Just a warning: don't start reading unless you have plenty of time ahead. You won't be able to put it down!

The same goes for the audiobook. Shane East and Ava Lucas are simply AMAZING!!! They're the perfect pair to bring the story to life!!!

A stormy enemies to lovers

Katrina and Arpad's relationship has always been tempestuous. But after falling asleep on his boat and wakening up at sea during a storm, it has changed. It is officially stormy. This book has all you would expect from L Steel the characters are well written. Arpad deeply troubled after what happened during their kidnapping. Katrina has to be strong if she wants to a fulfilling relationship with Arpad, and he needs to learn to let go a little. This si a great story and I look forward to Edwards book. The dual narration is excellent
