Star-crossed mafia lovers

Enjoyed dark possessive Massimo’s love story with beautiful sassy Olivia who goes up against him in witty banter and hot sexy passion! Mackenzie Cartwright is a perfect Via, loved her narration. I think Sebastian York choice for authentic Mafia character but i really wish it was a duet narration not a dual since Sebyo’s female voice just doesnt work for me. L.Steele combines exciting plot twists, heartfelt moments and sexy love scenes and kept me engaged from start to finish !

Series great

I have enjoyed this series on the mafia. Love sec, mystery, intrigue and danger. I continue to enjoy the books

Olivia’s character is so annoying

Olivia’s character is so annoying, her life is in danger and all she does is make things harder. Overall I like all the series but I really have to admit I skip some of her parts for being ignorant.

The male characters are always engaging

Could not stand Olivia, she was naive, irritating and plain stupid, I almost stopped listening but I did enjoy her husband, his passion and always the voice of reason.

Sexy mafia story

This was a long audiobook to get through. A few times it did seem to drag in a some spots. But overall I did like the story. I loved how Massimos love for Olivia never wavered. Some might think obsessive but I liked it. This story did have hot, sexy times. And I do mean hot. I think you could listen (or read) this as a standalone but to understand some of the other brothers issues from past books I think it would be best to listen in order. I will definitely go to the beginning of series and start from there. And the narrators, you can never go wrong with Sebastian York or Mackenzie Cartwright.
