Wow what a book

First time audiobook author and this is what we get. That’s a crazy intense book. I really think it’s the best narrated book I’ve ever listened to. Joe Arden damn what a job the best I’ve ever heard you Desiree Ketchum is perfect in this book. What a audiobook experience. 10 stars ⭐️

Gee-zus

Fkn Joe Arden! Wow! He was never a stand-out to me on anything else I've heard him narrate, but holy 💩! He MADE this audio book. The perfect voice actor for this one. Ms Ketchum on the other hand is still not one of my favorites but only because she tends to get really nasally.
This is a twisted, dark trip of abuse and brainwashing in a church community. Definitely not for those offended or triggered easily. Good story, if you're into dark. Highly recommend.

Holy Freaking Fabulous!!

This book is amazing in itself but the audio absolutely phenomenal!!!! It is by far the best audiobook I've heard to date. The raw emotion from Joe Arden had me in tears multiple times.

the male narrator omg

This book was shocking and vile but in the best ways possible. I lost sleep over this book for two days. I couldn't stop listening to it. The story, the twists, the male narrator.... so good. I don't know whether to listen to another book by this author next or to seek out another book with the same male narrator. The female narrator's voice bothered me though. I felt it didn't fit how I pictured Briony. It sounded like the narrator for gossip girl the TV show or bridgerton vibes.
