"If you're so concerned about my humanity, Elena, then reach into my soul and find it, because I'm not sure I have any left."

According to the FBI, I was considered a serial murderer after three kills.

What do they call me after fifty-two?

They call me the Silencer.

One final bullet would have been all it took to stop me from taking another soul, and I would have been doing Meridian City a service by pulling that trigger.

An angel crying for help stopped me, and that night, I took three lives for her. Then three turned into eight. Then eight turned into twenty. Twenty turned into twenty-one. Twenty one turned into twenty-three.

Elena Young is the hero in my story, but I’m the villain in hers.

And this is the kind of story where the villain gets the girl, even if it kills her.

This is a dark romance novel intended for mature listeners only. Please check trigger/content warnings. This book does not have an HEA.

I will never hate a book more than this one. I ugly cried at work today. Twice. This was a masterpiece! The performance was beyond perfection.
I will never forget this book.

My shattered heart

This book was tragically beautiful! Joe Arden and Lee Daniel’s did an amazing job Narrating this story. I felt every emotion. And there was a lot of different emotions you will feel.
Under Your Scar does not have an HEA, which I knew going in. I did not expect this ending! Elena and Christian, the things they go through together and separately. Even With Christians many faults you find yourself wanting the best for him and Elana.

All the emotions I felt listening to this story

It was great listening to the characters grow and evolve. I could feel the love they had for one another. This book was beautifully and well written. I felt like I was there. The ending was very tragic. I cried. But it was an excellent book. The author did amazing and the authors note at the end made the book that much better and so very meaningful. <3

The ending took my breath away. Literally.

This book SHATTERED me. PLEASE be aware of the TW!!

I have never left a review on anything in my life, but I just couldn’t keep this to myself! I have never read or listened to a book like this one before. It was so amazingly well written that I think it’s ruined all other books for me. I look forward to listening to this book again and again and again just to be shattered all over again!

The voice actors and the writing was so stellar it made me feel like I was watching a movie! Seriously out of this world performances by Lee Daniels and Joe Arden! I cannot describe how enchanted I was by them that I felt like I was living through the characters themselves. Ariel N. Anderson blew me away with her writing style and plot line! By far the best I’ve come across bar none! Some things I was able to predict, but it made it all the more satisfying to listen to as it unfolded. This is the first author that had me crying, SOBBING and hyperventilating on the floor it felt so real!

There isn’t enough praise I can give to express how this book made me feel. If I could I’d give it 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ruined all other books for me

I took a break from reading in March… and somehow I’ve finished my 3rd book of April and it’s only the 9th.

I just finished Under Your Scars and I’m not okay. Like… literally shaking.

This book had me in full-on crocodile tears. And not the cute kind, the ugly, chest-hurting kind.

If you’re looking for a happy ending… don’t. It never comes.

I usually don’t pay attention to trigger warnings anymore, I’ve read so many dark romances, I’m pretty unphased. But THIS one? This one sits with you.

There’s such a fine line between pleasure and pain… and while you think you understand that line, this book forces you to sit in it. To feel it. Not just the characters’ trauma, but pieces of your own too.

You get attached. You start to hope. You think maybe…. just maybe….. there’s light at the end of the tunnel…

There isn’t.

And just when you think you’ve figured it out… you haven’t.

It’s so well written that when you’re done, it doesn’t just leave you emotional, it makes you reflect. It makes you question the choices you’ve made, the things you’ve accepted, the things you’ve settled for.

Life is too short not to be happy.
Too short not to go after what you want.
Too short not to be loved the way you truly deserve… and need… to feel whole.

This book was heavy. Like… soul-heavy.

I might need to take another break from reading after this one. Because damn… this one was rough.

What to say….
