I truly adored this story. I wasnt sure how I would feel jumping thru time, but it worked so well in this story. Roman was the Black Knight Bella always needed, but truly never knew how far he would to to protect her. Both had so much trauma that it bonded them. I loved this whole story. I loved how the characters minds played such important roles.

A strange story that had lots of promise, but then became a cookie cutter ending. I can’t imagine in anyway that it is a happily ever after book. Disappointed by the way the book progressed and ending.

The world truly needs more Mickeys!

I was so happy to see this book on Audible! I first red this book on Kindle and it was great then but now that the voice was put to the characters it’s even better! But I do have to say that Bella’s self absorbedness was very frustrating both times. But don’t get me wrong I really did love the story and would recommend for the obsessed MMC lovers out there.

New favorite author

So hot. The time jumps with their ages each time went on a little long for me, but the story held my attention and the narrators were divine. Very obsessed MMC and the FMC was not some weak willed limp noodle. Loved it.

just kinda ok

It was ok. I think a lot of this was written as shock factor and it didn't shock me. It was like, ok, more blood, more threats, more bad dialogue.

Roman (I can't call him Mickey) was ok. He sure loved his girl. He would do anything for her. Every MMC says that, but he actually did. And of course he has a huge banana and knows how to use it. Of course.

Isabella is dumb as a box of rocks. I questioned her decision making throughout this book. She did one stupid thing after another.

The dialogue was bad. People don't talk to each other like that. Just, strange.

The audio was good though. Duet narration with JF Harding and Vivienne Larue.

This was my second Avina St. Graves book. I read Death's Obsession a few months back and that one was also kinda meh.
