softer but not bad at all.

It was a slow start, but overall a good story. This one hit home, what women wouldn't want a man to help her find who she is this way💥🔥

Nonstop listen 5 ⭐️ .

I listened til the end nonstop. So enjoyed the narrators. My favorites. First listen with this author. Will definitely be looking for more. A few questionable storyline situations. Steam was perfect and very entertaining.❤️

This book was sooooo good EXCEPT the female protagonist was just annoying AF!!! She’s contradiction on legs, one word? Insufferable.

…story in itself has an amazing premise and the plot is actually nice but she doesn’t care if she dies end then she cares… I mean she goes back and forth so much! I feel if we heard less from her or if she had less to say she’d be fine…

Okay, okay, in this book we meet Sawyer Bennett. Sawyer is entitled, selfish, a thief who “felt bad” but because she was caught, argumentative for argumentative sake, she really didn’t have any redeeming qualities despite what happened to her… literally garbage human… I guess the only thing was she was skinny and cute? 🙄 oh, also “5 foot nothing”
Anyway,
She’s running from the law stealing identities as she goes and she finds herself in Port Valen, a small town in Australia.

She meets Enzo Vateli, a gorgeous shark expert who is beyond grumpy… and of course she does what she does best, steal his identity…

Enzo vows to find her and make her pay. He finds her…

I don’t want to keep going because then spoilers… it’s actually a good dark romance… the only time I liked sawyer was during the smexy times… otherwise she was just so annoying… I could appreciate the story but I wish Sawyer was a bit more aware and for some who’s had all that happen? Some sort of self preservation, maybe hope? But the I want to diiiieeee then she’ll do “anything to survive” did not make any sense… so many contradictions with her… Enzo reacted rightfully so but then he became a bozo… plot twist would have been if he fell for the girl on the island lol

It’s an interesting book, check it out…

BUT only if you are okay with sex being described in detail… if you’re not, don’t do it and then complain… you were warned…

I thought this one was fantastic!

This is definitely not a flowers and chocolate type of romance. There is lying, betrayal, danger and suspense. And some how while the two main characters are wrapped up in the mystery of the island they find themselves shipwrecked on, they start to form a relationship. At first it may seem like Stockholm syndrome, but there is definitely more to these two than meets the eye. If you’re on the fence about trying this book, I would definitely recommend it.
