Publisher's Summary

I wondered what my life would have been like if we had never moved to the ho-dunk town of Spring Valley, Illinois. Sure the Internet service was splotchy, there was nothing but miles of wheat fields, and I probably wouldn't be faced with death at every corner. My only neighbor in this god-forsaken town was...well there really was only one to describe him, hot as hell. With his sinful dark looks, unusually silver eyes, and kissable lips, there was something about him that was more than meets the eye. Of course I was determined to find out. Chase Winters might be drool-worthy, but he was also insufferable, arrogant and...in short a d-bag. Our relationship was anything but love at first sight. Not even close.

There was something weird about the family living next door. What I hadn't expected to find was an underworld of trouble. Chase and his cousins Lexi and Travis are Divisa, half-demon, half-human. Getting them angry was hardly in my best interest, not if I wanted to live. As it turned out, that might be the least of my problems. I've been tagged by hell. Now every ugly, nasty being from hades was on my trail. I have suddenly became a magnet for demon disaster, and the only way I am getting out of this alive was by putting my life in the demon spawn's hands. One wrong decision and my butt was toast.

Narration doesn't match the book

Would you try another book from J.L. Weil and/or Tara Millette?

I like the book

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narration and the book didn't didn't match up!!! What was the narrator reading from ??

Any additional comments?

The last book I read/listened to by this author the same happened, but it was only a few words that didn't match up. This book has whole sentences and paragraphs replaced/changed/ or completely removed. It is extremely irritating and I really wish I hadn't bought the audible narration.

Just ok

I agree a lot like the lux series but for a little more swearing it's an ok story. This audiobook was hard to listen to there were people talking and noises in the background and when chapters just abruptly changed it felt like I missed something.

Great listening

I love how audible brings the to book to life. It's almost like you're at the movies and can visualize all the characters.

Potential!!

This book wanted to be really so bad but it didn't quite hit the mark. The story was intriguing and the characters were interesting but it felt like a mature 15 year old was writing this instead of an adult at times. Other times the writing was superb. The narrator did well.

Deaths Angel

Pretty intriguing even for teen book. Not so PG that an adult can't enjoy it.The story is pretty good with more creative differences from what you would expect to hear from a paranormal teen romance.More inventive.Tara Millette did a pretty good job with narration with only one small exception,on occasion you can hear people talking in the background like she's in a closed room with thin walls, that was a bit distracting.I've started to listen to the second book in the series and tell you now that J.L.Weil should kept the first narrator and not changed. I'm hoping the story will override the snarkiness the next narrator gives.

buono

trama carina ma troppo rapida ... gli eventi sembrano iniziare e concludersi nel giro di pochi attimi... però bellissimo per una lettura leggera e romantica
