Publisher's summary

Kline and Georgia Brooks are fresh off their wedding and ready to indulge in the honeymoon of a lifetime. Luxurious and private, their overwater bungalow in the South Pacific is the perfect backdrop for fun, sun, and enough sexiness to necessitate a dip in the clear water to cool down. But marriage means more, and Kline and Georgia may have to find a different way to handle the heat.

Thatcher Kelly loves wild women, and Cassie Phillips is about as wild as they come. Put them together and they are a match made in chaos. Bound by cat-sitting responsibilities, Cass and Thatch have to find a way to right their mistakes - and wade through the dense cloud of sexual tension that seems to suffocate the room whenever they're together. Will they be able to resist? And more importantly, will Walter be okay? Contains mature themes.

Fun interlude

This short introduces Cass and Thatch, who are adorable. The only issue is Thatch’s voice, which does not match his wild personality, Jeremy York’s voice is more suited to the professor or lawyer type, not the laid back crazy prankster that Thatch is supposed to be.

This also made me dislike Georgie (Benny) more than I had in the prior book. If you have an irrational fear of ocean life, why would you want to spend several weeks in Bora Bora on the water? Further, if you know you’re being irrational, why embrace it and act on it. It just makes me feel bad for Kline, as he does his best to just make his wife’s irrational behavior acceptable.

The character bantering is Lol!

I love the characters connections and banter. It is clever and hilarious. I LOL through the whole thing. It truly is one of the best I’ve listened to in terms of the interactions. Also, Very sexy and lots of chemistry.

Cute

This was a cute, sweet, and entertaining fast-paced story. I absolutely adored it. This felt like more of a story for Walter, and I loved it!

So fun to revisit these characters!

I forgot how swoony Kline was and how absolutely ridiculous Cassie and Thatch were together! And how could I have forgotten about Walter and Stan?!? It's so much fun to revisiting this series, it's like catching up with old friends.
I didn't think about it when I originally read these books, but I like how Cassie and Thatch's points of view were added, leading into their books.

I enjoyed that there were different narrators for each of the 4 main characters- I'm glad it wasn't just one male and one female performing everyone. My favorite was probably Jeremy York as Thatch, I liked how he said "honey" when he'd talk to Cassie. But they all were very good.

Original review from 2017-

So much fun! Loved revisiting Wheorgie and Kline, and Cassie and Thatch. This was an out-of-order read for me, as I read Banking the Billionaire between this and Tapping the Billionaire so I knew the connection Thatch and Cassie had, but it was still fun to see where it all started for them. So many laugh out loud moments in this short read. Kline is so swoony, Georgie has that completely right! And I just adore Cassie and Thatch, they are my favorities.

Twice the fun

Who would've thought that this novella would feature two couples? I should have read the first book in the series, but it's good that this will still get you on track. This is my first book by this author, and I love her comedic timing. I love her selection of narrators, especially those who narrated the POV of Cassie and Thatch. It made me itch to proceed to their story next. If you are looking for a series that is not too heavy on the drama but heavy on hilarious antics, I think this one would deliver!

I couldn't stop laughing & swooning!

I loved this short story that gave us both a glimpse into Kline and Georgia's honeymoon and Thatch and Cassie's start. I couldn't stop laughing at Georgia and Cassie's craziness. Their friendship is so endearing and hilarious. Neither of those girls have a filter and I love them more for it. Kline and Thatch being best friends put Thatch and Cassie in each others path all the time and sparks were bound to ignite. I can't wait to get into Thatch and Cassie's story next!
