Skies of Olympus

This is a fantastic series. That takes you into a different world, its fast paced and action packed. The Author really brings these characters to life on these pages. And makes it feel so real. The Narrator does a fantastic job as well. I definitely recommend this series

GREAT READ!

I really enjoyed it! This book was full of action and suspense. The narration was great and will keep you entertained. The author does a great job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I look forward to the next set of this series of books coming out on audio! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

hunger games with Greek characters and sex

The setting is only moderately greek. characters are certainly pulled from greek mythology, but otherwise there is very little to make this story greek, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for that. there are airships, and (rubber) slingshots and characters wear boots instead of traditional greek garb. Monsters are actually automatons built by hephaestus. its kind of like a steampunk version of greek mythology.

this is sort of the story of Hercules, if Hercules was a jerk, the trials were the hunger games put on by the gods, and one of Hercules' surviving daughters entered in order to kill him. she is the hero by the way, and somehow the demise goddess of pleasure is an entrant.

the book is good, but, it is written like YA and then stuffed with sex, so, it's not YA, but all the characters either are teenagers or act like they are, and the plot is pretty rudimentary since it moves with the completion of each of the twelve trials. if your looking for more teenagers vs the world of immortal gods on a sky ship, then you'll enjoy it. it has a distinctive dystopian flavor to it.

Hidden gem of a series!

I love Greek Mythology and I love retelling of classic tales, but only if they’re done well. This book does that. It’s a new twist on Hercules’s Trials. The author weaves a wonderful story that keeps you coming back for more. The narrator is fantastic as well and really breaths life into the story. Can’t wait for the rest.

Competatively Entertaining

If you enjoy Greek mythology and the idea of a living pantheon getting bored with the world...this will be right up your alley. Godly challenges...cheating...long odds. It is a fast paced ride in a very interesting setting.

The narration was strong.

The gods of Olympus in a new light

I always loved the mythology of the Olympian’s. The gods, the heroes, quests, and monsters. This series provides a whole new look at the gods and their heroes. The gods are bored and so they create a series of challenges that the crew who wins will become immortal gods themselves.the problem, Hercules isn’t the hero we know, his daughter and her crew must rise up and come from the bottom to best him and prevent him from becoming an immortal god of evil. Great series, novel look at an old myth. Really well written and narrated. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Skies of Olympus

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I've never read the source material so I had nothing but Disney to compare anything Hercules-related to. That said, though, this was a fun book even without the comparison. I assume it would have been better if I had understood more about the world, but I didn't feel like it took away from the story.
