Well I am officially addicted to the Savage Lands series.

This was such an epic conclusion to this series. Just wow! So much happened in this book & I am absolutely heartbroken about some things.

I loved this series!

Just OK

Story line dragged for me, it took a long time to get through some parts due to loosing interest. The male voice actor did fine, but I didn’t like how they brought him in on the last book considering all the others just had the female and I was already used to what the other characters sounded like.

Mixed feelings

Overall savage lands was a decent book series. There were highs and lows and intrigue, but for me I had a few problems with this series. There might be some spoiler alerts so be careful reading this review.

I’m all for some fairly graphic sex, but the sex in this book got to be absolutely ridiculous. I would consider this a younger adult series book given the age of the main characters and there is absolutely no way that real life would ever live up to anything that was described in this book when it comes to a sexual relationship. Yes I realize it’s a fantasy book but impressionistic young adults may think that this is an expectation. The other thing about the sex in this book was that it was disgusting. They were always filthy. The words were so vulgar. Although it was mentioned a few times pregnancy prevention was rarely discussed nor was sexually transmitted diseases. They made whore houses look like a trip to the mall . It was encouraged to make prostitution acceptable. Not feeling so hot, need a recharge, let’s hop on down to the whore house and screw a complete stranger to recharge my batteries. This is shameful. I hated this aspect of this book.

The violence and depravity of this book series was disturbing and I will never like how these books make everyone dependent physically and emotionally on one other (sometimes 2) other people. You can be in a relationship without it consuming you. It’s not healthy to think like this.

New narration is terrible.

Not sure why on the last book they changed up by adding a new narrator. The original person who read the others was perfect and adding this new guy just ruined it for me. Such a bummer. Don’t think I can even finish it.

Great series

This one is different from the rest of the series but once you get used to the multiple viewpoints it is great.

Narrator lost me.

I enjoyed the book, the series was a little repetitive but enjoyable. The narrator change lost me. Having a male narrator for the male parts was fine because it was a very heavily male narrated story when the previous ones were mostly female. Not a bad change but I get why it was needed. However… what lost me was the difference in pronunciations. I was so confused as to who or what he was talking about for a quick second when he would say some names or places and then realize it was because he was pronouncing them differently than Eva. It bugged me so much that it made the story hard to get into.

Loved it, all of it!

I can't even explain how much I loved this series. It was just one of those books I stumbled along and ended up being amazing. It's definitely different than your normal paranormal romance. Not predictable at all. I loved all of the characters and how they grew and changed during the series. Bittsy is my favorite with those middle fingers. But honestly Brexley is the best main character I've read about. Strong but still sensitive and soft when she needed to be, and then a complete ass kicker too. Loved Warwick and their whole love story. This is definitely a series you need to read.

Disappointing!!!!!! Pure smut

The only advantages to this book is the supporting characters take the lead, and the stupid female main character is limited. She is a train wreck already and she doesn't develop or improve over the series.

Book one is a great start to the series however, it takes a steady nose dive to book three and hitting rock bottom on book five. Sadly this could have been a great series, but the constant repetition of comments over and over (crap editing!!!!!), annoying and soundly absurd sex scenes combined with the absolute stupidity of the MC (supposed to be a trained soldier) makes the story unbearable by book five. Ive never speed up a narration this fast 1.75 just to get through a series. I constantly do 30 sec skips ahead just to find the point. I feel like i threw money away, but the story outside the MC's and supporting characters keeps me listening because you cant see whats around the corner. Ugh.

Its a unique Fae storyline and the narration is well done on audible, but SOOOOOOO many better stories to read before this series!!!!

Loved it!

The narrators did such a wonderful job! I only listened to book six on audio but now I’m thinking I need the others on audio as well!

Not the best.

Sadly I did not live this book. I absolutely loved all the others in this series. The story dragged, the verbiage was repetitive and the introduction of the male voice this late in the series was distracting. Boo
