Critic Reviews

"This worthy, engaging owner's manual on boys aged two to 22 is written from a reserved, supportive Christian perspective." ( Library Journal)

Great book to gain insight of my precious son!

I loved this book, I didn’t wanna stop listening to it and I wish I read it sooner! So many great ways to relate to my son in every stage of life and I love all the ways that this book dares you to keep your son little and exploring yet being able to then guide him into his adult years, this book is perfect for mom and dad!

Great and relevant advice

I liked the way the authors breakdown boy age groups and behavior accordingly . Good addition to parent library especially if you have daughters and sons. Gives ideas on others books to read for parents , books for boys and movies you can see with your kids that enrich their learning and yours as well. It also shed a lot of light on why adult men behave the way they do when it comes to parenting ...nice surprise . AVS

Excellent book. I will recommend it to all of my friends with sons. My 3 boys are still small so I know I'll be listening to this again in the future as they pass through the other stages.

An absolutely must read for all parents with boys!

Great advise and phenomenal tips for all stages of my son's life. Thank you for putting together such a remarkable work of art. Especially impressed by how you guys touched on all subjects, even the very uncomfortable ones. Thanks to you, I will not be shocked by a couple of approaching mile stones and hope too be better prepared to let go and accept all of his facets.

Yes!

Hands down recommend for anyone with boys. I was raised in a family with 4 girls and no close male relatives other than my dad. His methods of parenting go right along with ours. They recommend love and logic which is good for younger children but I think no drama discipline would be my first recommendation over that. Thanks for all the good info. Looking forward to checking out your other books.

Joy and wonder

There is so much joy in raising a boy! I had completely lost sight of that as we dealt with our daily struggles. Thanks to Wild Things, I not only understand my boy much better, I also appreciate all the wonders of his crazy, hectic, messy boyhood so much more. Listening to the audio version in the car, I couldn't wait to get home to see my boy, where before I would be a little anxious of what new challenges my boy had for us each day. This book had so much valuable insight that I just had to buy the printed version as well. I will go back and highlight and bookmark many parts of it. This book is for everyone who has a boy in their lives, not just parents.

Excellent, absolute gold!

As the father of 3 boys this has been a life changer for me. A wonderful blend of psychology, neuroscience, experience, wisdom as dads, counsellors and pastors. Performance was fantastic, humorous and warm, with feeling. I have already recommended to several other friends and will buy hard copy to refer to much in the future. Thank you.
