Publisher's Summary

The more complex life becomes, the more people crave simplicity - in their work, relationships, health, finances, and leisure time. For all of those who are overpowered, overextended, overworked, and overcome by the go-go lifestyle of the last decade, Simplify Your Life provides a user's manual for learning how to unwind and improve the quality of one's life. By covering household, lifestyle, finances, career, health, personal concerns, special issues for women, and "hard-core" simplicity, Simplify Your Life provides one hundred proven, practical, thought-provoking steps for creating a simple and satisfying way of life, including: reduce the clutter in your life; work less and enjoy it more; beware of exercise equipment, fire your personal trainer, and go take a walk; throw out everything but the aspirin; leave your shoes at the front door; and don't answer your phone just because it's ringing.

Easy to read, immensely valuable

I first read this priceless book upon its original hard cover release many years ago, and have bought innumerable copies for friends and business colleagues. Its simple, but valuable advice has been a key factor enabling me to meet my goals during many years of heavy business workloads amid personal commitments and circumstances which tended to coincide outside of my control. Easy to read, practical in the real world, and so before her time... Many of us who are intrigued by simplifying and/or minimalism today were inspired first by her book, now more relevant than ever, which covered so very well many ideas that are just catching on today. For most of my life, I have read or listened to several books every week, yet this remains one of the top five most valuable books I have ever read.

I enjoyed the Minimalists more. I believe the book

I enjoyed the Minimalists more. I believe this book is from the 1990s. There is nothing else to say.
