S.U.M.O. stands for Shut Up, Move On. It's a phrase to say to ourselves (and sometimes others) when we are acting or thinking in a way that is hindering our ability to succeed. It doesn't necessarily mean "get over it" or "pull yourself together" (although there may be occasions when both responses are necessary): "Shut Up" means stop what you're doing, take time out to reflect, let go of baggage and beliefs that hinder your potential; "Move On" means tomorrow can be different from today, look for new possibilities, don't just think about it, take action. There are six S.U.M.O. principles that are designed to help you create and enjoy a brilliant life. If you are wrestling with life's challenges, these principles will help you do so more successfully.
Would you listen to S.U.M.O (Shut Up, Move On) again? Why?
Eyeopening - puts everything in perpective. <br/>SUMO is a book that can change the way you view situations and react to them. <br/>Definately worth the money :-D <br/>This is a book I will listen to several times.
What about Paul McGee’s performance did you like?
Really liked his voice

Although I found the content interesting and informative, I don't feel I have really retained much of the information contained in the book from listening to it, and I've listened a few times. I find it hard to memorise acronym style learning if I don't see it, so I think this would be better to read, but ok as an audiobook. I also found the authors accent a little bit annoying - but I am not english so that might be why.

Recycled info and keeps going off topic with analogy. Couldn't finish it.
A fantastic listen putting life and our reaction to challenges in our life into perspective, clearly explaining how our responses create our outcomes. Paul engages by keeping it real and injecting real life scenarios and a splash of humour.
I'm fairly hard to please, but this book I basically left feeling I got something from it. It's to the point and easy to absorb lots of examples. I listen to a book a week and rate this well maybe 1/10.
I had bought this book but was struggling to find time to read it... downloading the Audible version enabled me to listen to it on my drive to work! Paul is a good narrator and even better life coach. His book is thought-provoking and easily digestible. I highly recommend this book.
Loved it, really informative and helpful, works really well as an audio book and I liked his voice too!
really enjoyed the content, found all the tools and techniques useful for me and working with others .. also loved Paul's natural humour.
Brilliantly motivating. Paul McGee writes in a clear and concise way and gets the points over with added humour. Excellent. If only I could get my husband to read it!
Would you consider the audio edition of S.U.M.O (Shut Up, Move On) to be better than the print version?
I would say yes defenetely. I am really busy, and the narrator voice is clear and easy to listen, this is my third time I am re-listening it (well now I listened it here and then, when I need some inspiration)
What did you like best about this story?
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The way he approaches things in general: shut up and move on.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Title is perfect as a title book or for a movie. Clear and easy to remember!
Any additional comments?
I strongly suggest it!<br/><br/>Thumbs up!
