Starts off TERRIBLE, but

When I first started listening to this book I thought that I had made a really bad purchase. It started to feel like the contents were for people with truly severe phobias or problems. I decided to finish the book and started catching some really great pointers that anyone can apply. I was pleasantly surprised how much some of the methodologies worked for even everyday things that need improvement.

hard to follow up

Would you try another book from Richard Bandler and/or Mark Morgann?

i am not sure, i expected a much better delivery from this author. i value his expertise, but the audio is missing vital information from the book and pace and monotonic voice make it hard to follow through.

Would you ever listen to anything by Richard Bandler again?

odd narration. great book.

Excellent content, but the narrator had a cartoonish infomercial-like delivery. This book is a classic.

Bandler is a master inner game expert

Richard Bandler started the "don't explain why your hurting, figure out how to make it stop and make the effects of the hurt go away forever"...The book is helpful for anyone who is "drifting" and making attempts to bring more concrete substance to their open-ended sense of uncertainty about how they are finding meaning in their life.

Bandler shows clearly and congruently how one can stop self sabotaging their mood and sense of hope and happiness. By reshaping models of how one experiences the World, he shows the reader how to find new ways to take inventory of how you process the inputs past and present that affect your mood, focus and sense of possibility and choice. Sounds esoteric, yet it is not, he keeps it simple and as you listen you will find that the information is actually very personal and intimate because he is providing questions that you enter your own answers to. Excellent transformation stuff in an easy to follow guide.

Wow

If you want to try something other than talk therapy, check this out. The basic idea is that how you feel about something is determined by the images you play in your head when think of that thing, and if you change the images you have, and add new images that make you feel better, you can literally change how you feel. Sounds simple but it's been working for me.
