I Adore Everything She Does...
Where does Dangerous Old Woman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Who was your favorite character and why?
So many stories with Characters with so many layers of many. Dr. Estes reveals them, layer by layer, round by round. Captivating and astounding!
What about Clarissa Pinkola Estes’s performance did you like?
Dr. Estes voice is magical. It soothes, caresses, brandishes, burns and cuddles. She takes you on a ride to many places terrestial and celestial. Breathtaking.
What did you learn from Dangerous Old Woman that you would use in your daily life?
I have many stories to repeat and tell, in ways that capture, fascinate and draw souls to the campfire of life.

I intend to, slowly, get ALL her audio books. I love her voice and stories that much.Thanks.

Not Clarissa's best
I love Clarissa Pinkola Estes, so I was delighted to see that Audible was carrying her material. "Women Who Run With the Wolves" ignited my creativity and self-esteem. This recording, not so much. I was distracted by the accent Estes "puts on" some of the time, trying to make herself sound more earthy. The teaching stories, though, are wonderful for older women such as myself. "Warming the Stone Child" and "Theatre of the Imagination" are better, but this was good.

Deep Wisdom Woven Through Beautiful Stories
Marvelously told stories bearing deep wisdom. New ways of looking at the life of a woman that cultivate spirit, resilience, and understanding. Listening, I can see myself as a younger woman, see where I am now, and what I have the potential to become. Most of all, a deep permission to be where I am and walk my own path, knowing I am loved and supported by all the Wise Women who have walked before.

A MUST for all Women!
Timeless, inspiring, entertaining and EMPOWERING!! I love Clarissa Pinkola Estés and all of the beautiful, soulful presence she brings by way of story and myth. A little "woo" but thought provoking
A little bit on the "woo" side of things sometimes, but thought provoking and reassuring to me as a woman who is, like every other human being and living thing, constantly aging.
