Another beautiful work by Estes.

I found this work both moving and soothing. I've been working my way through The Dangerous Old Woman series before bed and it has been the perfect and relaxing, but thoughtful way to end the day.

The Power of the Crone

Clarissa Pinkola Estes is very quickly becoming one of my favorite author/storytellers. There is great depth and insight in what she shares and still it is very practical. I am able to assimilate her ideas in a way that enables my personal growth in a very satisfying way and I recommend her work, specifically The Power of the Crone, to women of all ages.

Clarissa Pinkola Estes - what's not to love?

Would you consider the audio edition of The Power of the Crone to be better than the print version?

As I enjoy Dr. Estes' voice, I very much prefer the audio version of her stories. I find them soothing.

What did you like best about this story?

The wisdom imparted, the humor with which parts were read, the humanity of what was being said. Brings back the wisdom of our elders.

Have you listened to any of Clarissa Pinkola Estes’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have and I was not disappointed with this one.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The strength from within

Any additional comments?
