Publisher's summary

Determined warlord Torun cannot wait to claim Lucy, who mistook him for a shipwreck survivor and pulled his injured body from the ocean. All his instincts tell him she is his soul mate. Now she must join with him and give him a child.

Lucy can't believe the words coming out of this hard-bodied male. He insists her destiny is to become a mermaid queen and mother to his future children. The one thing "destiny" forgot to mention was that Lucy's a broke divorcee who can't even have a child. It's really too bad, because his gorgeous lips are all too kissable, and she'd love to see his iridescent gold tattoos moving as he flexed those broad, hard pectorals under the water....

But Torun's in more immediate danger than a bad bump to the head, and Lucy is the only one who can save him. Their choices will either save the entire race of mermen, or destroy it forever.

Impeccable!

I loved reading this book! I was excited to learn that the main heroine was overweight because I haven’t found many books that depict overweight women as the main character. The chapters go together wonderfully and the characters, surroundings, sensations are all represented magnificently! It’s definitely worth it to use a credit or buy it! I can’t wait to read book 2 and 3! I’m hoping that Lucy and Torun make an appearance in both! I’m really hoping that this series also gets turned into a movie! I would recommend 18+ for mature circumstances within some of the chapters! It’s a beautiful story!

great story wish it was a little more developed with a less robotic narrator.

So Sweet

I loved the story. The main character came to life when Teron finally showed her how beautiful she really is inside and out. I loved it.😍👬

Surprisedly good I enjoyed the storyline.

Let's see how the next book is can't wait. I liked Lassie and Me Squiggles.

Finally Merfolk!

Great first book I've come across Starla Night. There aren't many merfolk books out there of this nature compared to other fantasy characters, so this was great. Drawback is the plot and character development was a little shallow, nonetheless I will continue to read this series. Looking forward to more of the author.

interesting story

Story was good but the female lead was too weak for my liking. Not interested enough to read more in the series.

Has potential.

Extremely annoying how the same things are repeated over and over! I'm trying not to DNF this!

Maybe read this instead of listening

The story is decent, but I'm going to have to actually read it. The narrator sounds like she's bored out of her mind. And reads it as such, just so annoying.

Cute

Cute story. I was a little confused because I feel like too much was going on and couldn't keep up with the characters.
Narration by Chandra was great!

So much action in a romance

I am far from a fan of instalove, and this book had me laughing at how fast the leads fell into bed. I understood her justification of pulling away in the beginning, though the hot and cold thing she was doing gave me whiplash. I'm glad that the ending want a predictable romance ending since it's meant to be HEA. On to the next book.
