Wonderful Series

This series is deep with lots of twists and turns. I was glued to my audible account for 5 days binging on this series. The narrator was a bit irritating because he mispronounced a lot of words. The writer should note that Marines are veterans or retirees; never former.

So good, so sad

I wouldn’t want to ruin this for anybody because this series is phenomenal it is a really good read but the last book… I was so disappointed, the female character came off as just a spoiled brat and I just thought it would just be so much better because it was the last book and it made me feel sorry for the character that he ended up with her.

Good box set

I’m so glad I got the box set. Some books were better than others and the narrator wasn’t perfect. Over all I did enjoy the set, but there was just something missing for the over all story. It was worth the 1 credit!

OMG, who was the sound editor?

The basic stories for this series were pretty good and there are lots of things to like about this set. unfortunately there was a lot to be annoyed with too. For starters, the author gets a little wordy in some scenes. The language just too flowery and the characters just run on and on in there internal dialogue. Then there are the pronunciation errors. That is what earned the narrator only 3 stars. His acting was ok but my God, so many words mispronounced. It was infuriating. For instance Alfa Romeo my look like you are calling the Shakespeare character an Alfa but the pronunciation is not then same. It just takes you out for the story. If I was the author I would be livid that all of those errors made it into the finished audio. I still think the books are worth the listen but Audible studios should record these with a better narrator or at least an editor to catch the mistakes.
