Insightful and engertaining

Much more than a self help book. Liked a lot the social and marketing examples. The Starbucks Chapter is really inspiring. Recommended for an individual looking to tune up or a Business.

Life Changing!

A great book for EVERYONE to read... if you are human this book has useful information for you! As a dog trainer this book has given me a lot of ideas, and allowed me to make several connections which will help my professional work, but which will also help me shape myself into who I want to be. I started having a flood of epiphanies and making so many connections in my and others' lives and just having a greater understanding of what it is to be human; truly in more and stronger ways than were previously obvious... creatures of habit!

enlightening read

a very enlightening explanation on how habit works. there is a cue and a reward and an anticipation for the reward. duhigg gives a lot of interesting examples of habits from individuals to companies to social events in history

Great practical & story filled book on Habits!

Great narration.
Easy chapters to follow.
My favorite part is the appendix. it's what brought it full circle and has helped me apply what I learned to uncovering my own habits.
I listen to this book twice it was that useful in my life to help rewire some old and outdated Habits.
Two thumbs up for this book!!

It can be really helpful

The secret to changing a habit is that there’s no secret. You actually have to put in the work! The book dives deep into the nature of a habit by telling stories that exemplifies how different habits might work for different people. I believe the people who might not give this book a good review are people who expected some magic change after reading it. But the book isn’t really about that. Is about understanding what a habit is, what are the cues that create it, and the rewards. And you can use that knowledge to make any changes you want.
