Publisher's Summary

The finale of the Zombie Road tale. It's been a month since the outbreak, and the survivors of the zombie apocalypse have started a new life in a walled city. There are still a few enemies that need to be dealt with, the kind that can think and plan, and they can be more devastating than a horde of the undead.

I LOVED THIS SERIES! 💛

At first I wasn't sure if I would like the book 1 because I wasn't sure about the narrator. But I pushed through and I am sure glad I did. I loved the characters and mostly knew which one was talking.

I know some people cried racism because who was the real enemy in this series but come on. It really plays to the time we are in now. Everyone should stop being so PC and just enjoy the books.

I was excited to hear that the story will go on and will definitely get the new book as soon as it comes out.

I will finish by saying that if there was a Zombie Apocalypse this is a plausible way it could happen. I found some good tips just in case 😉

Awesome series

David Simpson and Eric Shelman you’ve done it again great story line and awesome characters(not to mention amazing narrator to bring it all to life) keep up the great work. I look forward to buying more books from the both of you because I can guarantee they will be action packed. If you’re into zombies these two are the match made in heaven thanks for keeping a trucker entertained and helping pass the hours.

What a Zombie story should be

zombie stories are not supposed to be romances, they're not supposed to be for deep emotional introspection. they are about being scared, showing ingenuity, and disregarding a whole lot of normal laws and morals. This series of books does that very well while still keeping the most fundamental at the Forefront.

I loved it

I listen to a ton of zombie books and this is a good series. I like the amount of detail that went into it. It was just enough to sell the story line but not so much that it bored you. The narrator did a good job with the different voices. You could tell the characters apart and he didn’t have to create an array of odd voices in order to differentiate them from each other. The only thing that kept pulling me out of the story is that he did all this research but somehow failed to learn that marines are not soldiers. Marines are marines. Army guys are soldiers. Do not call a marine a soldier they won’t like it. I will definitely be looking for more books from this author.

Riding the Rails

Not real thrilled with the ending of this book. Battle was good but over too quick. One man was the hero but really made out to be a super-hero.with unbelievable powers of death defying running jumping stabbing killing and surviving.Even I didn't believe it.
Don't really care about the son that was out running around in a car with no direction but manages to find someone that has a cure for the virus. He's almost dead but manages to drive cross country to go back home. Saves his father at the last minute and both miraculously survive.

Road Heads get outsmarted.

Would you consider the audio edition of Zombie Road III: Rage on the Rails to be better than the print version?

Narrator is is very good at the characters. Books pace and story arch is excellent.Big set piece battles flow fluidly and are very well written.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Zombie Road III: Rage on the Rails?

The darker side of jaded people finding excuses for their loyalties.

What about Eric A. Shelman’s performance did you like?

Does all the character with separation and with confidence. I know who he is portraying without prompts.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No but found myself willing certain characters to make it through.

Any additional comments?

Series comes across from a very American point of view. But nothing wrong with that considering the view point of the main protagonists. The fact that any fundamentalist bent on opening the Pandora`s box of an indiscriminate zombie plague, bent on destroying civilization could be justified is crazy. This would only leave us all doomed to a Darwinian life of living like animals as pure prey. I mean how stupid could they be? Not to mention as the books touches on, the lowlifes of society would become empowered by the lack of law and order. Thus further making surviving a hell on wheels unless you drive the truck or train with a big ass gun and plenty of ammo to boot. Honestly I really like this series and find it deeply engaging.
