Publisher's Summary

The bears were hungry and the panther was pacing her cage.

It was supposed to be a fun field trip to the wild animal safari. It became a nightmare of blood.

The zombie virus spread like wildfire and by noon, they were alone. Safe inside the fences, a group of school kids are the only survivors. Like the animals, they’ve lived their whole lives being cared for and fed, pampered, and loved. Now, they have to learn from each other how to survive, how to hunt, and how to kill.

Full of love, compassion, betrayals, and vengeance, this post-apocalyptic series is a unique adventure of bonding, friendship, and violence. Don’t threaten the children when the wolves are near.

Extraordinary story

An extraordinary story with a great cast of characters. This is a story from within the world of zombie road series. A group of children in a rural animal park been together and must survive the zombie apocalypse. Story will standalone by itself but it is born out of a few chapters in one of the zombie road books.
As the zombie apocalypse takes affect the few adults that are around try to ban together and keep the children safe. Read on and see what happens. Children wild animals zombies oh my. You will not be disappointed also once again read by one of the best narrators out there. Perfect rhythm great variation of voices and inflections and makes you believe you are listening to all the different people in the story. Draws you in keeps you listening and does a great job as well.

I wasn't sure how I would like a spin of of the zombie road world with children as the main characters. But Wow!! Just as fascinating, fun and captivating as the Zombie Road seriers

Great expansion to ZR Universe

This is an awesome read that will have you hooked even if you haven’t read Zombie Road.

I love this as an expansion story and can’t wait to read the rest. The overall story is well thought out. As in the ZR series all the characters have depth and will draw you in to the daily struggles of both the protagonist and antagonist.

If you have read the ZR series then like me you are biting your nails at the circumstances surrounding the appearance of the Road Angel.

In the end you will not be disappointed.

Really enjoyable zombie story

Really enjoyed listening to this book. Its not a scary zombie book, focuses more on how a group of children left alone in a zombie apocalypse come together to survive. Battling zombies, baddies and befriending animals.
