The adventures of the Shaman continue!

Daniel Mahan, the legendary Shaman of the Barliona game world, has served his sentence in virtual reality. Eleven months of adventures and battles in exchange for eight years in prison isn't a bad trade-off. And yet Barliona refuses to relinquish its grip on the Shaman so easily, erasing the boundary between his two realities. It turns out that it's not so simple to leave the capsule - the Way must be completed....

Totally Redeemed!

The end of the last book left me disgusted by betrayal. It evoked enough emotion in me to make me pissed off at the characters as if I was the one betrayed. This book totally redeems the series by giving it a proper ending! Way to go Vasily Mahanenko! I have also enjoyed the narration by Jonathan Yen which has been top notch. Thanks for a great series.

wait... what?

What happened to all of those other characters and plotlines!? It's like the author took a knife to the story after getting bored with it.

Good but not enough.

After the way book 5 ended the author had a big task to bring the story back to something great. Just as it looked like I was hooked again it ended abruptly. He resolved the plot, but l felt that we needed a lot more about what happened afterwards. So many unanswered questions....

fall of the main character

I became so sick of the main character saying that he didn't understand that I couldn't listen to it anymore. he is the biggest sniveling whiner in the history of fantasy characters.

Good, but abrupt ending to the series, I presume.

Just like the others if you liked them. The ending cleaned up almost all the loose ends but too quickly. For such a long series, I wanted more. Maybe there's still a sequel on the horizon.

Too Many Moving Parts

I am an avid reader of LitRPGs. Since discovering them a few months ago I’ve devoured one almost everyday. Each has their strengths and flaws. However, after six books this particular series leaves me asking if the author had any clue that the convoluted web he was weaving could possibly happen or be believable. I personally had a problem with the past few novels because it seemed like the author “nerfed” his own story (destroying it near completely). It makes me wonder if boredom overtook him and he decided to try his hand at a quasi-spy novel. The intrigue in this book could not have been possible because of the massive amount of moving parts and variables even considering the closely monitored environment of VR.

With all that being said, I am willing to see if the author can pull his own story out of this quagmire or if he himself has gone to “black”.

I love the story, but...

I love the story, but I hate how so many things get left unsaid. overall it's worth finishing after the previous cliff hangar.

Really are you kidding me!

I feel like the writer just gave into peer pressure because everyone was crapping over how the last and turned What was supposed to be a good revenge story into that I don’t even know how to describe it just was crap

Saved the series

After a very disappointing book 5, I almost didn't bother with this one but I'm very glad I did. Loose ends all tied up and a very satisfying conclusion that has made this my favourite litRPG series ever.

I love it when a serise all comes together

There is nothing better than when an author finishes a serise in the way it deserves.

It really feels like the author got to tell the story he wanted to tell.
