Publisher's Summary
Whether it be the hero of legends or the character in a game, few things are more defining than Class.
Except maybe Class isn't always static. Tank, DPS, healer, and more. They are all just different sides of fate's die.
Taken from life as an office drone by a trickster god, Tim finds himself in the magical world of Iocusinte, where change is his only constant. It grants him great potential, enough to be sought out by different factions looking to use him for their own ends.
That potential, however, is mercurial. His Class and very appearance shift at random.
If Tim is to survive long enough to enjoy this new world and the friends he's making, then he'll have to solve the riddle of his nature and learn to master the uncontrollable.
Experience the next LitRPG saga from Amazon Bestseller Sean Oswald. It’s perfect for fans of Dakota Krout, Luke Chmilenko, and Troy Osgood.

Ain't Got no Class
Tim wakes up with what feels like a hangover, but he hadn’t been drinking. Where was he? He was at work and it was the weekend, but then nothing. Then a big blue screen is in front of him, and is asking him if he wants to continue. He can’t seem to wake up and then thought why not play the game. Being a gamer office drone, this was like one of his games or books he had read.
He is asked to roll a die 3 times. Tim has never seen a die with this many sides, how was it even possible. Even the game is giving him lip, saying it sucks to be you. He tries to ask questions about what the game calls him a sojourner. He then rolls a 16 sided die and gets to be a blood mage and then rolls a 19 and is told he will be level 19 out of 20.
Grabbed by a trickster god, given no rules about the new world, given an ephemeral class Tim has a long road ahead of him. He wakes on the side of the road, confused and wondering where he is. He finds that he is on the world of Iocusinte (I – O-qu-sin-te’). A cart with a man and what looks to be his daughter help him out. He then realizes he is like 70 years old and wonder how long he has to try and figure out the world, his class and what the heck he is supposed to do in his new world.

mixed bag
The story premise is fun and I like how the main character is ever changing and evolving. But rest of the world and their interactions are so inconsistent that it's bothersome. Many reactions just don't seem to make sense based on their character.

Picking up Uncontrollable was a no-brainer!
Seriously after reading and enjoying Sean Oswald's set Life in Exile, picking up Uncontrollable was a no-brainer, although I'd never heard Daniel Wisnieski's work, I didn't even care. I knew I just needed to get the book! And boy was I right Sean wrote a dynamite litRPG!
Welcome to Tim's new life! Welcome to the magical realm of Locusinte where game like rules are in play... Trapped here by a Trickster God, Tim has to learn fast if he wants to live!
Oh and that guy Daniel well he's awesome too, giving a fantastic voice performance!
Here's a couple quotes that left me grinning!
"That gave it enough time to cough, tremble, and then hack a giant loogie at him. As disgusting as that might sound, the reality was those ten pounds of molten rock flying through the air was far more terrifying than a snot rocket."
"Tim smiled and said, “Maybe your name could be Mischief?” The mouse pondered again before asking, “What does it mean?” “Sorta like playfulness or teasing that can be for fun or can cause trouble,” Tim answered."
"Tim laughed as his familiar dealt so much death that he probably should have named him Reaper Cheep."

A rare miss for Sean Oswald.
This one was kinda boring, the character with the most story in my opinion was Cal Dakota and he was basically used as a plot device to move things along in a two dimensional way.

Great concept and great delivery
This is a new novel completely distinct from the authors other work.
It's got a great premise, interesting characters and a lot of action. It kept me guessing.
The storytelling, and the narration, were both excellent.

Good until...
I don't normally write reviews of audiobooks, but I really had to with this one. I read other people's reviews of it on here and decided to form my own opinion. I liked the book very much and was looking forward to the next one until... yes, until. As a woman, I was not offended by anything in the storyline, including (spoiler alert) the main character not wanting to turn into a woman.
What the until is about is when the mouse character showed up. When I say that the book went from a solid 4 stars to a shaky 2 star you might begin to understand just how annoying that mouse is. Scrappy-Doo was about equally as annoying if you ever watched old Scooby-Doo. The whole character was so bad I kept hoping for it to die a quick death so we could get back to the good story.
As to the reader, I felt that he had a nice voice and really did try to give people each distinctive voices. For the most part he managed it well with the male characters, but not so much with the female ones really. I'm thankful that he didn't try to use any falsetto voices to try and make up any of the female characters.
Would definitely listen to the narrator again on another book. Most likely will not read the second book because of the mouse. It's a pity because I really liked it up to that point.

Great concept, Good narration, No plot.
Despite a good concept and narration, the writing itself fails to deliver. I am several hours in, and I still don't know what the plot is besides "man transported to video game world". The MC is two dimensional and has no real morals, virtues, vices, or anything to make him actually feel like a person. He doesn't know what he's doing in this world, and I get the feeling neither does the author. 2/5 because writing is hard and the narrator does a good job.

interesting Idea
I went into this book with interest, a litrpg where the character can't control his class? That's new! He keeps changing? That's new too. He has no personality?....wait that's bad.
it is unfortunately an opinion I picked up quite quickly. The main character has all the personality of a half brick, sure you throw it at something and it will do some damage but you don't really care what happens to the half brick afterwards. I found myself unable to muster any interest in what happens to him next, all his dialog is either "I don't know what's happening" or the kind of talk you get from egotistical 10 year olds who play too many online games.
The story was mildly interesting but kept too vague. I didn't know if this was a computer game, different world, dimension or anything else and again it was kind of hard to care without details.
Still, I finished the book so that should say something. a lot of the membership included books I don't bother finishing.
My final criticism isn't of the story but the narrator, he was good enough with the voices but I had to listen to the story at 110% speed and it still seemed like he was talking in slow motion.
overall, worth a listen but don't expect anything ground breaking.

A promising start.
Uncontrollable is full of potential to grow and become classic litrpg, after some revision.
The author tends to use cliche similies, such as those found in preteen "creative writing" exercises, coupled with some naive ideas. The protagonist asking too many questions is a daft idea, especially as they're trying to learn about the world they've arrived in...making for a weak device.
Despite this the story still flows and builds.
At times the narrator is fully keyed into the characters and their nuances, only to then oroduce a voice that sounds like your 4 year old nephew pretending to voice a hero character.
These points aren't insurmountable and this tale is still worth a listen. Give it a go.

Interesting and well paced, this book is good. The writing can be a bit clunky at times, and there were some typos in the middle, however the narration was great and I enjoyed the listening experience overall.

Story
Monsters and beasts roamed the earth and were slain by soldiers and adventurers who were, in turn, killed by stronger threats. Heroes and villains created new epics and were forgotten when their successors appeared. This was the way of the Infinite World. Summoned into this chaotic place, a young boy with no name and no past must learn to survive. Bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies, he must become stronger. The question is: how?

Jackson's class as an Ironwood Monk puts him right in the front line. He gets stronger the more he gets hit and can pass that on to the rest of the team. That is if he can get his mom to actually let him fight. No one, least of all Jackson, fully understands the importance he holds for his family's future or that of all Talos. He will have to navigate challenges both in dungeons and the halls of power if he is to find a new home.

Story
After a bait and switch, Frank ends up transformed into an HI. That's a hybrid intelligence: part AI, part organic. He finds himself at the mercy of the system fulfilling the role of an ogre shaman meant to create fun opportunities for the purely organic players. Except not everything is what it seems to be. The very system may not be what he thinks it is. Breaches into the game world prove there are other forces at work. This game may be more of an isekai.

Story
As Thomas' life ends, the gods of another world swoop in and grab his soul. What they needed was a champion with the courage and strength to fight against the rising chaos in their world of Eternis. What they got was a college math student who spent more time gaming than he does studying. When they throw him into a new world, in a new body, at least they give him a familiar gaming interface. Or, it would have been familiar, if he hadn’t lost his memories from the trauma of his death.
