Publisher's summary

With the first of what he suspects will be many favors completed, William finds himself busy with important tasks back at his home on Saladin. Queen Rachel has several jobs she needs him to do, and Feliogustus has similar tasks in mind for him as well. All in all, it seems easy enough to Will, it's not like he'll be fighting in any wars, or traveling across the infinite on a strange quest after all.

But things aren't always as easy as they might seem, and both politics, as well as the other gods, aren't going to ignore Will, or the tasks he's been set to complete. And is if dealing with that isn't problem enough, when the time comes to do some serious diplomacy between Hiland and a neighboring Kingdom, a deadly problem comes from a most unexpected quarter, forcing Will to take immediate action to pay back both his, and his God's foes.

Awesome story bad Narrator

I love this author his stuff is always high quality. The narrator of the first two books was subpar butt did well enough, but for this one they changed the narrator which automatically makes it so we have to get used to new voices and then he was just bad and they didn't edit out the mouth noises

as usual a fun romp through multiple Dimensions though there are several plot points that you could see a mile away

great book. poor recording

the story was great like the 9nes before it. the recording though, is scratchy with back ground static. And you could hear the reader pause often and take a drink. takes away from the story. :(

good story

this was a good continuation of the series. this is more multiple small quests not one big mission. narration got worse with the new narrator, but still good enough story to ignore it

Another success!

Another incredible book by John Van Stry with all the great characters we loved in the first 2 books. Plenty of action, great story!

loved the book series but "swallows" is killing me

The editing on the audio is below average. I understand that talking for a long time is taxing and water is needed. But GOD DAMN this man's swallowing sound is obnoxious. I hope that at some point some better audio editing goes on here. The book however was enjoyable and I look forward to more.
