Publisher's Summary

Rejoin Alburet Two-souled as his journey in Alpha World continues. He has two quests that still need to be resolved; one that deals with Nobility, while the other is from the Dark Lord. Before he can deal with either of them, Mindblown brings down the server. As they are about to launch a mass scale immersion testing phase.

Gerald, Marysue, Karen, and Fluffball are four of the lucky ones selected for the testing phase. Gerald plans to drum up recruitment for the guild, Alpha Company, during the meet and greet before the immersion testing starts.

The quartet of newly minted friends will meet for the first time in the real world. Will they get along or will something force them apart before the game goes back online with them immersed?

This book contains adult themes.

another amazing novel

one of the best book series I have found in a very long time Daniel schinhofen has created a masterpiece in this series the story is amazing five stars is not enough we need we need an extra five stars on it on top of the Amazing Story the narrator is very very well at tune to the series I can't even imagine a new narrator this point if you don't want spoilers just know that Alba Rhett and his companions go through Adventure with so much more character development again I must wish that there was more stars to put do

Great idea with disappointing implementation

Being a fan of science fiction and video games I was pretty excited by the premise of this book: there is a ton of cool plot lines to explore within such a story. By the time I got to Book 3 I lost any hope that the author is going to make anything interesting out of the series. The thing that bugged me the most from the plot is the fact that there was not a single attempt made to explain the high functioning "artificial intelligence" controlling non playable characters in the game. I mean, dude, the main protagonist is married to a damn "artificial intelligence", at no point the subject of how this artificial intelligence functions at such a high level, how it should or should not be considered "conscious", any possible "self awareness" plot lines, none, all of this is brushed aside for things like an extremely detailed stat guide presented at the end of each chapter. The story is fun enough in a generic sort of way, but the amount of things simply ignored by the author are maddening. The narrators voice also sounds like he is about to tell someone "it puts the lotion on its skin", I have no idea if the narrator does this on purpose, but damn, what a weird way to talk.

great if you can get through the sex scenes

I really enjoy the book but I have to fast forward through the sex scenes that seem to be the same over, and over, and over, and over.

Won’t be disappointed

This is one one the best series I’ve ever read/listen to. At some points you can almost close your eyes and feel like your there with the characters. Very well written and great character building. This will go XXX fast though but it matches the story and helps build the characters.

Emotional roller coaster.

Fuck it been a long time since a book took me on an Emotional roller coaster like that from horny to pain to hate back to horny. I have a couple of problem 1 I'm good at fantasising and see Things in front of me, and that makes it easier for me to connect to stories like this. also I have much knowledge what Fluffball is going through which just make it so much harder for me when I see what Fluffball was going through on the second last memory I feel just like Alburet did, and if I was there I might have done the same. My stomach hurt, and I had to try to control my self all the way through, and this was via an E-book if I was there I don't know if I could sit through it knowing what I do now. Its been way too long since I feel like this. Last time was when I read a fanfiction made a long time ago which i cant remember what was called, but there was my Emotional all over the place also. I love this book it even better then the second book even if this book is more about Fluffball and (Carrin?). I'm still not sure about what to think about Alburet background you doing a good job trying to keep it a mystery even though I'm pretty sure of what happen but only time will tell if I'm right.

at least he improved the pacing

damn this audiobook is preaching christian morals hard af rn with the mc, whatta wierd turn. not in a good way, it really takes you out of it especially since a good isekai story makes the mc a self insert. spoilers kinda ~~~~~~~~~~ author succesfully writes himself a chance to assemble a 3+ girl/1 best guy harem in the past couple books. but im assuming he doesnt want to write lewd things about cat girls, so he gives the cute shy cat girl some cheaply written father figure rapey abuse background to get a rise out of you. that makes her a stand in for the mcs non blood related daughter who was crippled by a rape assault that is the cause of all of this. its ok to give the shy char some dreaded history, but damn its a little heavy on the cheap sexual abuse. all in all hes improved the pacing of the writing, balancing combat and world/char building. next arc is a raid tier arc, so he knows how to build excitement for the next book. the in game therapy story is really interesting tho and i could use more "omnipotent company test ideas on the long stay subjects". if youre still willing to put up with some poorly thought up and written character interaction, then its one of the better
audiobooks for one who enjoys the genre.

Can't get enough of this series

I've run through 3 books in about a week and a half, can't wait for more. Usually I only listen when I'm driving but this story has me so engaged that I find myself listening just about any time I'm not doing something that prevents it.

This one got to me.

Would you consider the audio edition of Alpha Company to be better than the print version?

Not read the print so couldn't tell you.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alpha Company?

Fluffs dream/memory. Can you say Triggered much?

What does Peter Berkrot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

The feelings conveyed are much clearer to me when it's read out how it;s meant to be.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

OH this one REALLY pissed me off, I love and hate the book! The start and through it is great but again Fluffballs dream/memory. It's been hours and I'm STILL wanting to destroy that S.O.B

Any additional comments?

Great listen! the story is deep and excellently laid out for the most part.

Engaging and intense

The third book in the Alpha World saga is the best to date. Each character is well developed and explored and manages to bring the reader in even closer. The action scenes are impeccable and paced at edge of your seat speeds. The romantic discussions are well thought out and all possibilities are properly explored. This is a brilliant book.

Fallen short of potential

The first book in the series showed so much potential but unfortunately the series has progressively gotten worse. The characters aren’t put in any tough situations and the story has become so monotonous in some sections, I found myself yelling at the speaker. The characters even comment on how much grinding there is. Just about every quest is the same - kill x amount of _______ creatures in between the over-the-top sexual innuendo. We get it, you want to have sex wth each other. Just do it and move on already!

The story has the potential to be a really outstanding book series but has failed to deliver.

Gripping

Another addictive addition to the Alpha World Series and another fine performance. Just had to here what happened next so much that before I knew it, the book was finished just as quickly as it started.

exceptional good read

Simply put the author has successfully brought together a bunch of personalities that work well in the book and the narrator is just simply a very gifted speaker
