Read Second

This book should have been the second in the series. The second book should be read first. I didn’t think this book was very good until I read the second book. I read this one again after reading the second book, and it was so much better knowing the back story.

Fabulously Spicey

This book was very well written. The spice was well described and had the heat. The story flowed well and was easy to sink into and follow.

Good story line….

With a hea. I skimmed through the sex scenes but right now that’s my choice. Narrators were very good. I love hockey stories for some reason. lol.

Jax is a good guy

3.5 ⭐️ I really enjoyed the writing. This is my first book by this author. There was emotional tension, plot tension, and sexual tension. The ending felt very rushed. All in all, I’d recommend it to anyone that likes this type of book. There is an extended epilogue in ebook version that’s not in audio.

Surprisingly Emotional Sports Romance

The characters are so well written. Storyline touches on parental neglect and the marks that leaves on a person. Well written and worth your time.

Character Development

Definitely one to read if you want a spicy romance and a few good laughs.

Boy obsessed? I’m obsessed.
Girls got daddy issues and not in a good way. But she’s letting it interfere with what could be and that just made me so angry! I was shouting “he’s not your dad” but too many parallels I guess.
Anyhoo I’m going to need a Mia/Alex/River story asap

Loved this Hockey Romance!

This remains one of my favorite hockey romances. It’s very angsty throughout, and has a hell of a third act breakup, but the sweet, sweet HEA makes up for it in the end.

While it’s the first book released in the Rule Breaker series, I would recommend reading/listening to Rules of the Game first for keeping on timeline.

Angsty hockey romance

I enjoyed the book and how much Jax loved Sydney and how he continuously stood up and fought for her. The slow burn and angst just kept ratcheting up and then the ending felt like it was an afterthought. I wish we got more and 3-4 chapters covering 4 years of their lives but it was a good book.

Really cute and sexy story!

Super cute and sexy and I flew through this! It's got all those he falls first vibes, but there's some great angst and tension because she's resistant. The fall so cutely and sweet and slowly but it's also super spicy, they have stellar chemistry, and the spice was spicing.

It's a longer book, perhaps has a few less needed/repetitive bits, but I found it super consumable on audio and really adored it.

Audio performances are fantastic- def worth the price or credit!
