Angsty sports romance

I’m jumping on the Hockey romance train, and I’m doing it with @authorcalimelle . This woman has done a complete 180 on me and I’m digging the light contemporary work as much as her dark alter ego. 😈

Up first in the Wyncote Wolves series is Cross Checked Hearts. I love the forbidden aspect of a brother’s best friend trope, but damn did this book make me giddy. Isla Whitley has longed for the moment Logan Knight would unveil his dirty little secret to his best friend. Not breaking the “bro code” is easier said than done when you’ve already crossed the line.

Cali’s only scratching the surface in this angsty sports romance, and I’m here to join along for the rest of the ride. Just keep those audiobooks coming because Eric London has sealed my mental image for every MMC in this series. That doesn’t go without mentioning Meg Sylvan’s performance, her soothing and mellow voice made this an enjoyable listening experience. Kudos for her portrayal of Logan as well.

On to book two I go.

Typical story. Good spicy scenes though

Nice quick read. Story was typical. The female reader was better than the male reader. Logan sounds like a hot jock when the female is narrating. And like a complete dweeb when it’s the guy.

Trust

I enjoy the aspect of trust and the aspect of true friendship, and I enjoyed the storyline and the trust between friends and the trust between lovers. Thank you for writing the story.

very cute

I liked the story overall. it's always frustrating "hiding" I don't get it but in this case I understand haha. He brother's very dramatic but I love a happy ending 🩵🩵

This book was good. It was a slow burn but overall good. I definitely recommend!!
