Gah it’s so good

This ginormous box set felt more like a single 8 hour book. It flew by. I absolutely adore Rowander. The character growth in this book and the deep relationship challenges feel so real. The theme of grief is so felt.

Even though we don’t get graphic sex scenes there is a little more to it than fade to black. As a married adult, I’m totally fine with it, but when I imagine my daughter reading this as a young teen- probably not happening if I can help it.

Narrators…. They were good but the female sounded too old and the male was veeeery dramatic 🤣.
But the story is so good i still got carried away in it

Great storyline

The only thing was the male narrator was AWFUL! Thank goodness he only narrated in the last book otherwise I don’t know if I could have finish the series. Other than that it was a great story and I really enjoyed it more than I thought it would!

Kept my attention but the male narrator....

The female narrator was amazing!! The male narrator was comically bad. He spoke in a whisper that just felt so cringy. I think he was trying to be sexy (??) but it was creepy. Thank goodness he was only in the last book. I would not have listened otherwise. The story was super good and I loved Rowan's whit.

Could not stop listening to it!

This was an excellent story, I couldn’t stop listening to it, and the female actor who read the book’s was fantastic! Her voice and inflections are so good that you know which character is speaking before it is even mentioned. Truly enjoyed it.

Favorite Series!

As someone who fell in love with this series on Kindle, I was so excited to listen to the full omnibus audiobook with bonus chapters! This series has everything you could ask for: romance, humor, dramatic twists and turns, and much more. The bonus chapters give you additional insight into multiple characters throughout Rowan's journey which just makes you fall in love with the entire Lochlann world even more. Olivia King and Adam Gold did an amazing job of bringing the story to life with different accents for each character and emotional portrayals that make you feel fully immersed in the story. I honestly can't recommend this series enough!

Female narrator

The female narrator was amazing! The male not so much. Super breathy and drew out almost every word. Other than that great story!

The Male Narrator Ruined It

Loved the book, love the female narrator, but listening to the male narrator was just painful.

Amazing! And interesting!

I really enjoyed this, it was perfect. Great story and wonderful characters. Fantastic character development. My issue with a lot of stories in this genre is the denial character is either written poorly and thus making them unbearable or they write her as meek and always needing a savior. This was not that. This had both a strong male and female lead, romance and action. Loved it. Was absolutely enthralled with the way it was written and was so sad when I finished it. Loved the bonus chapters as well, they gave us additional povs and that was awesome. 15 out of 10. Would listen again.

I didn’t want it to end!

The writing and performance was AMAZING. It’s like a mix of outlander and acotar. And what a deal you get 4 books in one audio credit! Very heartwarming story and finished this 30+ hour audio adventure in like 3 days

Got better with age

I didn’t like all the parts of the story BUT Crimson Kingdom was five stars!!

Omg this one was SO GOOD!! I wasn’t a fan of the story at first, but honestly the moment Ovander (idk spelling, I’m listening to the audiobook) finally reveals that he wasn’t calling her “pet” with his nickname made this book ten times better. So now, I’m finally loving it!
