Publisher's summary

An international Amazon best-selling title. Includes all three novels in the Riven Wyrde Saga.

They thought the fae were a myth.... They were wrong.

As the son of a mere merchant, Klöss wants nothing more than to pass his trials and join the ranks of the Bjornmen raiders, breaking free of his father’s ambitions and following in the footsteps of his forebears. Times are changing in the Barren Isles. The centuries-old traditions of coastal plunder are making way for outright conquest, and the threat of war is looming.

Found abandoned in the forests of Anlan, Devin wants nothing more than a simple life. But fate, it seems, has other plans. As his sleepy village transforms in the face of foreign invaders, rumors tell of creatures seen in the moonlight, shadowy figures with eyes of amber flame. The fae are returning to the world of Haven, and vengeance is within their grasp.

As the first battles rage between the Anlish and the Bjornmen invaders, only one man knows the true threat facing Haven. But can he convince anyone before it is too late?

More than 100,000 copies downloaded worldwide from this epic fantasy series, perfect for fans of Patrick Rothfuss, Feist, Peter V. Brett, and Brandon Sanderson.

Adventure and fantasy with just the right amount of “romance”. Fast paced and enthralling. One of the best performances in Audible! BravoMr J A O Mcpherson!

Possibly the best fantasy book!

Wonderful engrossing story with such real and full characters, all made so believable by an amazing narrator. Well done ! I felt lost when it was over so relistened to last book. More from both of you, please.

John McPherson is the BEST!

The story is very well written and found the whole series was over way before I was ready but not due to the storyline but because I was engaged in the characters and the story. The Narration was more then superb with every character it’s very own. The toothless old dudes were the best and made me laugh and instantly put a face to each. Johnny McPherson is by far my favorite Narrator to date!!! He is what makes these books stand out for sure.

Masterfully Written and Narrated

I have over a thousand books in my audio library and I have to say that I think Mr J A O Mcpherson is the best narrator that I’ve heard thus far. And Graham Austin-King was masterful in his writing. It took me several chapters to start to feel like I knew all the different storylines that were going on, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. It will definitely be one that I listen to again.

Lots of characters who blend at times

Good overall but hard to follow with some charters blurring together at times. It seems like adding some side novels would be helpful to better flesh out the overall saga.
