One of my favorite series!

This is my third time reading the series but my first time as an audiobook. The narrators weren’t my favorite, but I got used to them after awhile.

Great Story

Loved the bonding of the key characters and their sacrifices in this series… great narration as well.

The characters and their depth.

It was a good story with many turns, even though at the end it was a bit predictable.

Great story

At first I thought I might be annoyed by the MC but I fell into the story and loved both the character development and world the author created. Action, new worlds, conflict, love..... not spicy but I didn't mind with this one at all because of the more realistic build of romance and relationship, set in a fantasy world. Palpable emotions throughout the story and actually enjoyed the ending. Would definitely recommend.

Good Storytelling

The narration was good as was the story. I only wish more detail had gone into the world building. The variety of characters and the ending was perfect.

Worried that the continuing saga would be too much for me but it was really nice to have time to enjoy the characters I enjoyed.

The characters were all believable and yet surprisingly there was enough time to really develop them.I like the magic and mystery friendship and romance.

Just Okay

I’m still trying to decide how I feel about this book. I really had a hard time getting into it because I had read such a great series before and I think I was just comparing it to the other book. I have a feeling it does not have to do with the writing, but it was the narration. I didn’t like the narrators and I think that’s what made it hard for me to listen to this book. I did keep at it because I wanted to see what happened to the characters. I won’t say what happens, but I think if I would’ve cared more for the characters, I would have cried. I felt nothing.

To be fair, I may have to listen to it again. if I do, I could change this review.

Ste story itself. Brilliant!

I liked them overall, separately and individually. The story was good, and the author pulled everything together in a good way in the end.
