Publisher's Summary

Tick, tick, tock.

Time. That's all I have now. A small room, a photograph, and time. They want me to trust them and confess my sins. They told me they wouldn't judge me - they lied.

I thought we could convince the world that this wasn't a crime. We were wrong.

Time doesn't stand still. The clock keeps ticking, the world is unconvinced, and now… Now he is gone.

Enlightening point of view

Where does Veiled Innocence rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book has been a very big eye opener. I truly believe in love and I know it comes in all forms. As many people and myself have said timing is EVERYTHING in this case is really is.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Veiled Innocence?

Realizing how many people really listen to Addison.

What does Chelsea Hatfield and J.F. Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators were great in this book, they both nailed it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, if I could have listened to it all in one day I definitely would have. Ella made you feel like you just wanted more, and there really isn't a right spot to stop unless your family needs you! And only then. I can see where there could be another book launched from this book but we will just have to wait and see.

Student - teacher angst

Spoiled high school senior student always gets what she wants, and she wants her hunky teacher. It was drama-filled, and sexual. It narrates in dual POV from past events to present, explaining how they end up. I didn't think I would like it but I did. I was pleasantly surprised by the fictional ending. If you can not handle reading about teacher-student forbidden relationships, this will not be for you. I took a chance on my credit, and I'm okay with it.

Unexpectedly good

Would you consider the audio edition of Veiled Innocence to be better than the print version?

N/A

What did you like best about this story?

the second half is consuming.

What does Chelsea Hatfield and J.F. Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Free hands

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

She's sitting on the ground leaning on his trucks tire.... Near the end.

Any additional comments?

The beginning was traditional and boring. Half way through the author found her muse or voice or whatever it is that made it well written.

What an awesome student-teacher story!

What an awesome story!

This book was great. A classic teacher-student story. But it was written so.... IDK.... differently. First you start in the present and the (h) is in a hospital of some sort for going crazy... but then it drift back to the past. The story of the student and the teacher repeats this back and forth present and past type of telling throughout the story until the end.

I quite enjoyed it.. It brought a level of suspense to the story, b/c what I totally thought happen to the (H) by the end, was not so.... So I was pleasantly surprised by the end.

Great narration. Very much like the male voices.

Good Credit, Buy or Sale.... So worth it.

A pleasant surprise

This story is unlike anything I have read. In the beginning I wasn't sure but I let the story and narration take me away. I'm a big fan of JF Harding so it was easy. I liked both characters, Addison and Grayson, and after awhile I began to care for them, for their well being. I'm so happy I gave this story a try. And I'm sure I'll listen to it again in the future.

Disliked this book!

Would you be willing to try another book from Ella Frank? Why or why not?

Yes, only book of hers I truly DISLIKED!

Which character – as performed by Chelsea Hatfield and J.F. Harding – was your favorite?

The narrators were great, my issue was the book it self.

Any additional comments?

I am totally alone in my opinion of this book because I absolutely hated it. I disliked both main characters Grayson and Addison but my real dislike was the format in which Ella Frank wrote the book. I mean I don't mind going back and forth into the present and past but this to me felt like a ping pong competition, it just felt we were in the dark throughout the whole book and was only given small increments of the story at a time!
My grip with Addison was how positively relentless she was with stalking Grayson and damn the consequences, very selfish and self centered in my opinion. By she time she realized her actions had caused damage it was to late to go back. I get the family tragedy and her fucked up parents but at the same time she wasn't being honest with Doc about all the crap at home either.
Poor Grayson, got sucked it and manipulated and he only thought with one organ. The only person I loved was Doc.
This is the only book by Ella Frank that I haven't loved. 😭
Such an Amazing take on a Student/Teacher Romance!

Would you listen to Veiled Innocence again? Why?

Yes, the voices of Addison and Grayson were amazing! Better than expected for sure!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Grayson, for the main reason of the voice I listened to. He can read me anything and I'd listen!

Have you listened to any of Chelsea Hatfield and J.F. Harding ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, but will be looking into it more!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The ending was shocking and unexpected! A true page turner!

Any additional comments?

Amazing story!
Wow! From the beginning, I was caught up in the lives of Addison and Grayson. It has such a different take on a student/teacher romance! I seriously could not stop listening to the audio version because I just NEEDED to know what was happening! The voice of Addison was perfect. She had a sweet, calming voice and made you believe she was a mature 18 year old. The voice of Grayson was PERFECT! He has such a strong, sensual voice. Those sex scenes were read really well by both! And those were some HOT scenes! Addison had so much going on in her life, that I never felt like she wasn't mature enough for the relationship that she wanted with Grayson. I loved how hard he tried to push her away, but just couldn't hold off anymore. Again, I'm so glad I listening to the audio version because the voices gave life to the characters. I HIGHLY recommend not only getting the book, but buying the audible version as well. I know this is one I will listen to over and over again. Although next time, it might be nice to just enjoy it and not be on the edge of my seat throughout! :)

WOW - It's that amazing!!

I am not the one who would like to listen to a student and teacher relationship as it always ends up bad. And I thought it would be them typical story, but this story is without a doubt AMAZING!!

At first in the beginning of the story, I was totally against them being together as they way they acted - So Wrong! But as the story progresses it got better and I just couldn't stop listening.

I wanted them to be together as she is already 18 but as the law say "NO STUDENT-TEACHER RELATIONSHIP". I felt bad for them. That is all I will spill as I already spoil too much.

And the sickening fact that its literally thrilling "forbidden love". Perhaps, the thrill of risking getting caught by the public about their secret. MY GAD!!

Just give this book a try its really amazing. It's worth the credit/purchase.

The performance by Chelsea Hatfield & J.F. Harding was AMAZING!!

I say so many amazing because it really is amazing!!
