A hilarious and enjoyable story!

I was looking for a new audiobook that would be light but keep my interest. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book when i chose it but this was truly an amazing find!! I recognized the female narrator from a supernatural/paranormal series i read years ago but the male narrator was new to me. The narrators were both great, a rare but important find for me, and the story was laugh out loud funny. Definitely recommend.

Amazing

this book was freaking awesome. I loved Jesse and they way he loved and gave up everything up for his son. But when he got his women back he did everything in his power to hold onto her. Awesome performance by these two narrators

Undercurrent of Antisemitism

So here is the deal, I love this author, and I’m aware that MCs can have members that wear lighting bolts and HH or 88 on their vests, but I don’t see why this book needed those details. Those are 100% antisemitic. I loved Jesse and he’s not real so I can like how he was written, but for him and his son to have 88 on their jersey and vest, was a slap in the face and added nothing of value to the characters, unless the value was to show that Jesse is an antisemite. Other than that I liked the book, I liked the narrators. And for the record I like this author. We have different political views and I’m fine with that and am all for her using her platform to promote her viewpoint. Antisemitism isn’t a political viewpoint. And I have a feeling deep down this author isn’t antisemitic. Do not cancel her, this is not about that, but to those that may read this story, be prepared for those symbols. That’s why I dropped the story to 3 stars. That ruined the book for me.

Love this series she always comes through!

Lani Lynn Vale nails it every time! She makes you laugh, cry, get excited all in a matter of minutes. Love all these Alpha heroes and their women. Keep them coming Ms Vale. I find myself on Audible daily hoping for another coming soon book from you.
