Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! It is such a fun read with a lot of humor and great dialogue between the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lane Kettering! He isn't your average high school student. He is so much more mature than his friends and definitely has to deal with adult issues sooner than he had planned and has a lot of fun doing so.

What does Charles Lawrence bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He makes all the characters come to life with his different "voices" for each one. It is so much more real to listen to a story than to just read it myself. I don't know if I would have enjoyed this book had I just read it myself. Also, having the setting with a Southern Accent is absolutely delicious!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed all through the book. This author writes the best dialogue for her characters. So many times I am laughing out loud. It is good I read in a quiet place alone.

This is a great book; this is book 3.5 in the Heroes of Henderson series written by Liz Kelly and narrated by Charles Lawrence. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading/listening long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.

The narrator Charles Lawrence did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. He did a great job with the different characters and their voices. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read/listen to this book. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

Beautiful story!

I love the story, surely love at first side but I love the funny stuff ! Hilarious! How miscommunication can cause so much trouble but I love how Viví and Lane make it work!

I LOVE the Heroes of Henderson Series! Tempting Vivi is a stand alone book, but I enjoyed having characters from the previous books pop up in this book. Lane and Vivi were strong and likable characters that I was rooting for. Liz Kelly makes me laugh out loud while reading her books.

I really felt bad for this particular rule following Duval and her equally has straightforward new beau. What a great story

Funny Twist

Vivi meets Lane on a beach just after her boyfriend breaks up with her for a very surprising reason. However this won’t be the only surprise she gets. After she and Lane become a couple the surprise she has in store is about to make her life much more complicated. Life certainly isn't simple for the DuVal women in this series, but it is very entertaining! Charles Lawrence doesn't disappoint with his excellent narration.

After graduating college early, Vivi DuVal is ready to take on life. It does not start well when her semi-boyfriend breaks up with her and she cannot find a job. The break does bring Lane in to her life, but he has secrets of his own that could ruin her reputation and her career. Lots of angst in listening to this story. Their position is precarious, but they grow closer to each other because of it and their love deepens. But they must decide if the risks and waiting is worth their effort.

Witty and heartwarming!

Lane and Vivi’s vacation fling leads to myriad complications that test them both in this witty, heartwarming and poignant romance that is a great addition to the Heroes of Henderson series. This story centers on the younger generation of DuVal cousins, Vivi’s teaching career and the long standing football rivalry between Henderson and Oxford that tests the meddle of both characters in numerous ways. I loved the emotional connection between the characters and the constant yearning Lane and Vivi have for each other is quite compelling. I listened to the audiobook and I really enjoyed the wonderful narration performance of Charles Lawrence.
