Publisher's Summary

Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

Sunsets at Seaside by Addison Cole is the sweet edition of New York Times best-selling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Seaside Sunsets. The stories and characters remain the same, and convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language.

In Sunsets at Seaside....

Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, to determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.

For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother - and falling in love is not in his plans.

From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sweet, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie's business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the brown-haired beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie's life - and his heart - upside down. In a world where personal information is always one click away, Jamie must decide if he should trust his heart or watch the woman he loves walk away.

Jamie + Jessica = Just Right!

Jamie is a programmer and the founder of OneClick, a search engine that is only second place to Google. He is focused on his work yet a good friend and amazing support to his Grandmother Vera and his friends at Seaside. He decides to attempt a vacation and plans to spend his summer at Seaside, rather than the occasional weekend he typically spends.

Jessica is a cellist, on hiatus from the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She has devoted a majority of her life to being the best cellist possible, with little time for anything else. Even the chance to have a break in the first place was difficult for her to obtain. Jessica chooses to spend her vacation in Seaside, where she rents an apartment.

Jessica and Jamie meet unexpectedly, when Jessica, who isn't a fan of technology, gets frustrated and throws her phone, which then strikes Jamie as he walks by. They meet and despite their differences, are drawn to each other.

Jessica is reserved and inexperienced, but Jamie makes her feel at ease immediately. They have to balance their urges with getting to know each other better. The question is, will they know each other well enough to overcome obstacles when their relationship and Jessica's past comes into question?

I loved listening to this book after reading it when it was originally released in print. I loved "watching" these two get to know each other and grow closer. I also loved how quickly Jessica was brought into the fold with the other Seaside girls!

Great story!!

Sunsets at Seaside is the fourth book in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summer series. It can be read as a standalone. Jamie and Jessica are both successful and set in their careers. They both feel satisfied in life, and they both are craving some new connections. While taking a break from everyday life, they both end up at the same Cape Cod cottages. Will their connection be enough to keep them together? I enjoyed listening to this narrator. This is an excellent story that I highly recommend.

So much better as audiobook!

Jessica life is planned out to a T and is in a Orchestra that pretty much takes up all her time. Now shes on a hiatus to work out things like what she wants out of life and just enjoy herself on vacation. While on this vacation this no so tech savvy women tries to find a baseball her father once owned as a gift.

Jamie is a the designer behind the worlds second largest search engine and is visiting his grandmother on the cape for the summer. Somehow the two got together and its been a wild romance for the two but the eventually these two vacation has to end and they got real hard working lives to deal with.

I was able to get a chance to reread this book through audiobook this time and I can tell you right now that listening to this book just enhanced this book so much. Melissa Moran the voice behind the book definatley suited the book as well as the other books in this series. If you get the chance I'd highly recommend listening to the audiobook with the book.

This was such a sweet and entertaining book. I loved getting to see Jessica open up, make new friends and change along the way to see who she really is other then just an amazing Cello player. I loved seeing how good Jessica and Jamie was for eachother. I loved seeing the romance between the two. I loved that this book can get steamy without and still be a clean book.

Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it. There is just so much to like about this book and its a perfect summer read .

Sparks flying everywhere

Jessica Ayres has lead a sheltered life being groomed by an overbearing mother as a Symphony Cellist. Jessica came to Wellfleet for a hiatus from her stressful career wondering is life was passing her by. Jamie Reed is a computer entrepreneur who comes to the Cape each summer to spend time with the grandmother that raised him. When Jess losses an Ebay auction for a baseball she wanted, she tosses her phone and accidentily beans Jamie in the head. When Jamie returns the phone, sparks fly. I don’t know how Addison does it. The romance between Jamie & Jess was so sweet but with heat enough to fan yourself without the graphic details. Melissa Moran did an awesome job bringing the story to life. Her voice inflections were amazing, I had no problem differentiating each character even though there were so many different people to voice.

Addison Cole and Melissa Moran make a great team!

I loved listening to Sunsets at Seaside expertly narrated by Melissa Moran. Addison Cole has created such a great group of characters at Seaside. This book focuses on humble but hot internet tech guru Jamie Reed. Jamie meets Jessica Ayers, a cellist who is taking a break from her career. They have an instant attraction to each other. Jessica is trying to work out some career issues and Jamie has taken the summer off to be with his grandmother, Vera. The physical attraction is strong and Addison Cole gives you just enough subtle info to let your mind run wild. I so enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

LOVE!!!!

I always love going back to Seaside and checking in with everyone, it’s like you are right there in the thick of things.
These two meet when Jessica throws her phone and accidentally hits Jamie. There is definitely chemistry and major sparks between them. they come together and the misunderstandings are worked through which makes them even closer. I especially loved how the musical references were interspersed throughout the book. It was as though you were picked up and taken along for the ride. I listened to this book as an audio book which was narrated by Melissa Moran. I was curious as to how she would handle the musicality mentioned but I felt she did great job not only with that but keeping the story flowing with all our friends from Seaside

Professional Cellist + Innovative Technologist

Perfectionism at it's finest. When you put a classically trained cellist and a leader in the tech world together ... what do you get? Well besides Jessica and Jamie. This cute couple wasn't always destined but happened as a result of Jessica's need for a break. The break led her to the seaside community that we've all come to love and adore in Addison's books. Throughout the audiobook the narrators bring the story to life. Bring a voice to the words on the page and honestly make this a love story you'll want to listen to over and over again.

GREAT BOOK!

I always love going back to Seaside and checking in with everyone, it’s like you are right there in the thick of things. This time we get to meet Jamie Reed and Jessica Ayers. These two meet when Jessica throws her phone and accidentally hits Jamie. There is definitely chemistry and major sparks between them. It was fun to watch them get together and learn to trust each other since they’ve both been sheltered and protected in different ways. Add in a misunderstanding and a roadblock by the name of Mark, but they come together and the misunderstandings are worked through which makes them even closer. I especially loved how the musical references were interspersed throughout the book. It was as though you were picked up and taken along for the ride. Summer Love

Sunsets at Seaside: Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summer, Book 4 Addison Cole

Melissa Moran is a great narrator and she once again brought the beautiful story of love to life.

This was another hit for Addison Cole and I loved listening to the audiobook.

IT guru and billionaire Jamie Reed plans on spending the entire summer at Seaside working while being with his grandmother Vera, who raised him after the death of his parents at age six. They've had a cottage there ever since Jamie was little and had been coming to the Cape and spending time with childhood friends Tony Black, Bella Abbascia, Leanna Bray, Jenna Ward and Amy Maples.

Jessica Ayers went to Seaside for the summer to figure out her life, taking a brief hiatus from the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Jessica has spent years living her life endlessly pleasing her mother. Having dedicated her life to practicing and performing Jessica is somewhat naive and hasn't experienced the "rights of passage" most take for granted. This is her time to see what it's like to live a normal life, and see what she's missing.

Sparks fly immediately between Jamie and Jessica and what ensues is a journey of self-discovery for both. There's plenty of fun, friendship, sparks, heat, passion and love. However, there is a huge misunderstanding that plants a seed of doubt in Jamie's mind and he is torn between his feelings and the logic he's faced with and that threatens their fledgling love. Jamie realizes what he's lost and fights to reclaim their love.

Trust is such a fragile thing, but listening to your heart can come with its own risks. This was a poignant and touching love story filled with new love, heartache, sense of betrayal and reconciliation. Well worth a read and a listen!
