Publisher's Summary

Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole is the sweet edition of New York Times best-selling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Read, Write, Love. The stories and characters remain the same, and convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language.

In Read, Write, Love at Seaside...

Best-selling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna's come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can't get the six-two, deliciously muscled and tragically neat Kurt out of her mind. She tells herself she's just stopping by to say thank you, but the heart-warming afternoon sparks an emotional and unexpectedly sweet ride as Kurt and Leanna test the powers of Chemistry 101: Opposites Attract.

Fun and Romantic

After listening to this book, I want to move to the Cape and become part of Leanna's group of fun friends. I also have to wonder if there might be another man around there like Kurt. He is such a wonderful, sexy man. Their relationship is such a sweet romance. It is also very flirty, and with just the right amount of heat that makes our imagination go wild. I loved this book. It was such a fun, but oh, so romantic story. The narrator, Melissa Moran, does an outstanding job with it.

Total opposites

What do you when our total opposite turns out to be the most intriguing woman you ever met?

Leanna Bray has been coming to the Cape since she was a child. She has always loved it there, so she has decided to make the Cape her home with her dog Pepper. Kurt Remington is a best-selling author who has come to the Cape for some peace & quiet so he can finish his latest novel when that peace is suddenly shattered by a woman trying to save her dog for drowning. When Kurt gets down to the beach to try and help, he discovers the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Kurt is the epitome of organized, everything has its place. Leanna is the direct opposite; she keeps her clean laundry in piles. These two opposites are definitely attracted but will that be enough for them to last. I love how they each seem to be exactly what they each need even though they don’t know it.

I listened to this as an audiobook & the narrator, Melissa Moran did an awesome job bringing the story to life. Her voice inflections were amazing, I had no problem differentiating each character even though there were so many different people to voice.

Love comes to Seaside

I loved this book. There was so much fun and entertainment on every page. The narration done by Melissa Moran is hands down amazing, with how she transitions from one character to the next is seamless and the distinction of each is amazing. She adds her own special touch to each character that they really come to life. I quickly fell in love with the Seaside girls...they are fun loving and charismatic and ban together for all the action, they are each other's support system. Toss in a brooding writer and..well we fall in love with him pretty quickly too. His whole world is turned upside down as opposites attract in the best of ways. Leanna can't seem to figure out her life plan and Kurt is anything but living life one moment at a time...he's got all his ducks in a row. When the two come together in an effort to save Pepper never could they have imagined how life would change in an instant. I couldn't put the book down I really enjoyed every last moment. Can't wait for more Seaside romances.

Loved it

Kurt Remmington is a well known author who is a bit too focused on writing to have a life. Then in comes the free spirited Jam making Leanna nearly drowning trying to save her dog. Kurt of course comes in to help her and her dog out. Both are complete opposites and somehow they just click. Neither are looking for love but they sure found it.

I've read this book at least 2 to 3 other times but this time I got the pleasure of having the audiobook with Melissa Moran as narrator and she really just worked well reading Addison Coles books. I found myself even more immersed into the story and reminded myself why I've read this book multiple times. I can't help but love the connection between Kurt and Leanna, they are just so right for each other and help eachother better themselves. Theres Leanna who gets Kurt doing something other then his novel getting him to enjoy life. While Kurt is really supportive in Leanna's Jam make making business taking it to a new level she hasn't really though of. Overall this was a nice little contemporary romance to read around this time since its getting warmer it makes you want to be at the beach looking for those summer vibes. I just really enjoyed this book highly recommend!

Love this sweet book.

Wow, what a sweet romance this is! Kurt Remington is swoon worthy, organized and a writer. Leanna Bray is cute, searching for a career, and doesn't plan a thing. But a chance meeting between the two leads to a whirlwind romance. I loved these characters. Each has their own quirks but the relationship unfolds as they learn more about themselves and each other. I love the innocence of this Addison Cole romance. Melissa Moran provides an entertaining narration. I love how her voice shifts for the various characters. The team of Addison Cole and Melissa Moran is a hit.

Opposites Attract

Read, Write, Love at Seaside: Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers, Book 1
by Addison Cole nad narrated by Melissa Moran

Kurt Remington and Leanna Bray prove opposites attract!

When best-selling author of dark thrillers Kurt Remington goes to the Cape to finish his next novel, he is interrupted while writing by Leanna Bray trying to save her dog from drowning in the ocean. Annoyed, Kurt can’t leave them to drown and rescues them. The mess that ensues is a hilarious start to their love story.

Leanna couldn’t be more opposite to the neat freak, minimalist, uber organized and sexy hunk Kurt Remington. So begins this unlikely romance between a free spirit who doesn’t know the meaning of the word - plan, who is frequently covered in her own homemade jam, and a super organized, meticulously neat man who doesn’t want pets (think hairs and mud) and has no time for romance in his 12 hour a day writing schedule..

Can opposites of this magnitude stand a chance or will their differences end a romance before it can begin?

I love the pull they both feel, even when logic dictates otherwise. They learn that they genuinely like each other, fall in like while falling in love and that compromises can be made by both as they navigate this often rocky, but beautiful love story.I love how they both grown in ways they didn’t know they were capable of because of their interaction with each other.

Melissa Moran does a great job of bringing life to the characters and her voice is pleasant and soothing as you listen to this sweet with heat story!

Fall in love with Kurt and Leanna! 5 stars

Sweet romance

Kurt Remington is a novelist who is always focused and always on time for his deadlines. Leanna Bray is a free spirit who sells jellies/jams and has no order in her life and nothing is on time. When Leanna shows up in front of Kurt's beach house searching for her dog who ran off in to the ocean he reluctantly goes and helps her, not knowing his life will never be the same. Kurt and Leanna have an instant attraction and you can feel their chemistry building throughout the book. Read, Write, Love at Seaside is a sweet, fun loving book. You can feel the attraction Kurt and Leanna have without any graphic sex scenes. What an enjoyable, easy read!
Melissa Moran brought this book to life. I enjoy listening to her narrate the story.

Great Story

This is the story of Kurt and Leanna, who on the surface would normally be suited to each other. He is neat and tidy to the point of OCD. Leanna is the exact opposite but its seems its just what both of them need. Add to this her friends who each could have their own story, who look out for each other, and Pepper Leanna's dog who will do anything for Kurt. With some books that don't go into explicit detail it tends to lose its way, but this has more depth to the story with the added characters that you don't notice that there are no swear words or explicit sex. Look forward to reading more. Having read the book I have also listened to it as well. Its just as good listening to it

Read, Write, Love at the Seaside

Read, Write, Love at Seaside is a romantic sweet treat for all chicklit lovers. It is fun, flirty and introduces you to a series you will not want to stop listening to.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and I was not disappointed. The narrator is clear, bubbly and really portrays the characters personalities with her tone and voice.

When Kurt Remington escapes to the seaside to get away from the hustle and bustle of his New York city life, he is entangled in a new drama that is 'Leanna Bray'. They say that 'opposites attract' and this case it is certainly true, as Leanna is clumsy, messy and very free-spirited. She brings the fun and the drama and enabled Kurt to unwind.

This audiobook is ideal for anyone who has a busy lifestyle, or would just like to listen to something whilst relaxing. It is fun, flirty and introduces you to the Seaside girls who you will be unable to get enough of. It is worth the listen and worth the money. It was good quality and I am looking forward to listening to more of Cole's work.
