Publisher's Summary

Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole is the sweet edition of New York Times best-selling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Read, Write, Love. The stories and characters remain the same, and convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language.

In Read, Write, Love at Seaside...

Best-selling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna's come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can't get the six-two, deliciously muscled and tragically neat Kurt out of her mind. She tells herself she's just stopping by to say thank you, but the heart-warming afternoon sparks an emotional and unexpectedly sweet ride as Kurt and Leanna test the powers of Chemistry 101: Opposites Attract.

Sweet!

I listened to the audiobook of this, and it was a sweet, light, enjoyable story with great narration. This was the “sweet with heat” version of Melissa Foster’s Read, Write, Love. Sometime when a scene was omitted to make the read “sweeter”, I felt like I’d missed something and the flow of the story was affected - especially if the scene was referred to later. Overall though, this was a fun book to listen to - Leanna & Kurt were very likable and their friends and family were great too. I look forward to reading more of this series, but would be inclined to read the steamier versions.

Painful

It was so bad I couldn't make it past but a few chapters. Not believable, poorly written and development of characters lacking. Narration made lead female whiny from the first paragraph.

Very cute summer beach read.

Never having listened to or read Addison Cole before, I was't sure what to expect. This was a cute summer beach read that pits a free spirit with a laced up novelist. Even though this was a "sweet" version of the story, there was still plenty of steam without all the salacious details. I definitely recommend this story for those that enjoy easy- breezy stories that have a happily ever after ending.

Fun and Romantic

After listening to this book, I want to move to the Cape and become part of Leanna's group of fun friends. I also have to wonder if there might be another man around there like Kurt. He is such a wonderful, sexy man. Their relationship is such a sweet romance. It is also very flirty, and with just the right amount of heat that makes our imagination go wild. I loved this book. It was such a fun, but oh, so romantic story. The narrator, Melissa Moran, does an outstanding job with it.

Perfect Seaside Romance

Nothing like a little “pepper” to spice up the recipe. Oh wait not that kind of pepper! In this cute sweet romance novel you’re thrown into the seaside community with Kurt and Leanna who are far from your typical match but end up being made for each other in every way imaginable and they come together to make the perfect recipe because of the addition of little pepper! I am so glad I took the time to not only read this awesome story but I listened to it on audiobook and I think I enjoyed it that way even more!

Loved it!

A sweet story of love most unexpected. Kurt's world is turned upside down when he helps Leanna. Their chemistry is believable, and I loved this book and the narrator. I definitely recommend this sweet read.

Love it!!!

Where to start with this audiobook.....

Such a sweet, loving, heart melting summer book to listen to.

No matter who you are you can relate to Leanna on some level, I know I can. Her confident and brave nature but underneath still a little unsure of herself. Her relationship with the girls and her relationship with Kurt will have you laughing and awwwing all at the same time.

Kurt.... I want a Kurt ;) I love his caring nature and his patience with Leanna. They are the opposite if each other but perfect on so many levels. Kurt will warm your heart and fast become your audiobook boyfriend.

A sweet, heartfelt book to listen to that I will listen to again and again and again.

Can't wait for more!!

Great Story

This is the story of Kurt and Leanna, who on the surface would normally be suited to each other. He is neat and tidy to the point of OCD. Leanna is the exact opposite but its seems its just what both of them need. Add to this her friends who each could have their own story, who look out for each other, and Pepper Leanna's dog who will do anything for Kurt. With some books that don't go into explicit detail it tends to lose its way, but this has more depth to the story with the added characters that you don't notice that there are no swear words or explicit sex. Look forward to reading more. Having read the book I have also listened to it as well. Its just as good listening to it

Read, Write, Love at the Seaside

Read, Write, Love at Seaside is a romantic sweet treat for all chicklit lovers. It is fun, flirty and introduces you to a series you will not want to stop listening to.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and I was not disappointed. The narrator is clear, bubbly and really portrays the characters personalities with her tone and voice.

When Kurt Remington escapes to the seaside to get away from the hustle and bustle of his New York city life, he is entangled in a new drama that is 'Leanna Bray'. They say that 'opposites attract' and this case it is certainly true, as Leanna is clumsy, messy and very free-spirited. She brings the fun and the drama and enabled Kurt to unwind.

This audiobook is ideal for anyone who has a busy lifestyle, or would just like to listen to something whilst relaxing. It is fun, flirty and introduces you to the Seaside girls who you will be unable to get enough of. It is worth the listen and worth the money. It was good quality and I am looking forward to listening to more of Cole's work.
