Publisher's Summary

Only I would put a fully clothed man on the cover of a male stripper novel. Why? 'Cause I'm a rebel. And because this book is about so much more than a guy shedding his clothes. It's a love story. A hot love story that includes redemption, second chances, finding your voice, and fighting for what you believe in. Fighting for who you believe in. Oh, and male strippers. Did I mention that? ;)

Blurb:

"I may have had more lovers than you, and I may take my clothes off for countless women, but you are the only one who can strip me bare."

Do you ever stop loving someone just because they're gone? Five years ago, Ryan Pierce disappeared from Alana Remington's life without a trace. He was the one she gave her heart to, her soul to - and her virginity to. So, imagine her surprise when she finds him dancing at one of NYC's hottest male revues as "Jack the Stripper".

Ryan never stopped loving Alana, and now that she has serendipitously dropped back into his life, he's vowed never to lose her again. But being together has its costs, and challenges Alana isn't sure she can handle. She finally has Ryan back. But how in the world is she supposed to share the love of her life with half of the women in New York City?

Strip Me Bare is a second-chance standalone romance. It contains angst, heat, humor, heartbreak, and one seductive male stripper who will not only have you handing over your panties, but also your heart. You've been warned.

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫

I really thought I knew what to expect with this book but this one was different, it didn't have the OMG twist I've grown to expect from this author. I stayed up all night finishing this audiobook. The characters were very honest and emotional and their story was beautiful and sweet with some tragic circumstances to boot. The connection between them was so palpable and the sex was extremely hot. I really enjoyed this book and have leaned that this author doesn't have a specific "type" of story which I love and can't wait for more of her audiobooks in the future. I always love a book that I didn't see coming.

Brooke Bloomingdale does a great job narrating this book alone. I may have even liked her Ryan voice more than her Alana voice and when a narrator can voice a character of the opposite sex this good you know she is talented!

REALLY.. REALLY.. REEEEALY GOOD

I got this book purely on the strength of Moto which absolutely blew me away and I didn’t think Ms Never could do it again.. well I was wrong wrong wrong. Not only is this a multi-layered beautiful second chance love story, you also feel the sexual chemistry, intense loyalty and in-harmony dynamics between the two very likeable characters. Added to that there’s sexy times, romance, family conflict, tense twists, heartache, smiles and good secondary characters.

It was a compelling sweet and emotional listen that had me riveted to its unfolding storyline way waaay into the early hours of the morning.. totally gripped, utterly glued and unashamedly gleeful. And, as we all know, it’s the narration that brings the characters and the stories to life.. making or ultimately ruin them - well Brooke Bloomingdale absolutely rocked it.. and her voice of the hero was 5 star perfection. This delicious second chance love story was told from the heroine’s POV and it didn’t have the usual (and, IMO, sometime a wee bit frustrating) ‘then’ and ‘now’ or ‘past’ and ‘present’ chapters which was refreshing.

Worth a credit? Well that’s an easy one... an unshakable and undeniable YES.

M.Never, never disappoints.

M.Never hit this book out of the park. It's not like any of her other books, but this achingly beautiful and twisted love story is like nothing I have ever read. The absolute literary brilliance she delivered is unbelievable. Five stars don't even come close.

No. Just No.

The only redeeming quality of this story is narration by Brooke Bloomingdale. Otherwise, you have a twenty something privileged white girl whining throughout. Too many crude sex scenes. Not enough of a plot to warrant 8 hours. I like M. Never's other stories because they were interesting, but this one just didn't muster any at all. I would like to know why so many romance writers seem to think there's no actual romance for anyone over the age of 30. Seriously. I try to stay away from any plot with characters under the age of 30 so when I chose this one, I didn't realize they were in their 20's. Maybe that's why there's no substance to the story. When you have a 23 yr old girl saying her life has been ruined by some guy leaving her 5 yrs previously - which would have made her 18- then I have to just say no. Ridiculous.

Wow!

This was a surreal story. Bad boy for the wrong side of town. Unfortunately this writing has more truth then we could ever imagine. The writing was great and the narration was spot one. Well worth the listen and possibly a relisten.

Emotional Ride

This was my first time with this author and this narrator and neither of them disappointed me. When I googled this book to check out the reviews on Goodreads I noticed that this is actually Book 2 on this couple . The first book is called Stripped from You , which appears to cover their youth and when they first met and what tore them apart . That book is not on Audible, but since this one seemed to cover the backstory, according to the synopsis anyway, I decided to go ahead and listen to this one without reading the first book.

This book was filled with laughs, sexy times and raw emotion & heartache. My heart broke for both Alana and Ryan and the crap hand that they were both dealt. Ryan's love and devotion to his brother was unconditional , even when he didn't deserve any of it because he wasn't showing any of it back to Ryan. Although, as much as I disliked Sean, I couldn't help but shed some tears for him at certain parts torwards the end. I was so proud of Alana for standing by Ryan through everything and finally standing up to her father when she really needed to to try and save Ryan's fate and future.

Kudos to M. Never for delivering a great love story filled with hope, determination and heartache. And Kudos to Brooke Bloomingdale who did a great job covering all the male and female characters and bringing them to life. I will definitely be listening to more from these two.

Did it ever "strip me bare"

Wow just wow!!! M. Nerver just tossed me to the wolves with this book. The story grabs you and does not let go until it's done with you and you are left a crying mess. Hot sex scenes, great narration, and a wonderful story you can't go wrong.

Second Chance!

Alana was devastated when the only boy she has ever loved, Ryan, left her without a word or any further contact. She has moved on with her life but she has no faith in relationships and doesn’t believe that she can trust another man.

When Ryan left Alana it wasn’t because he didn’t love her it was to protect and he believed that she was better off without him.

Five years later Alana is attending a bachelorette party at a strip club when who should be performing the lap dance on the bride to be but Ryan. Now that Alana is back in Ryan’s life nothing is going to get in the way of their being together including their secrets or his career.

I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

I loved this emotional, sweet & sexy romance!

This book grabbed my attention right from the start but it held my heart to the end! It was funny, sweet, emotional and so very hot and sexy! The prologue had me so intrigued, I wanted to find out more. It begins with Alana Remington going with her cousin and best friend to a male dance club for a bachelorette party. Alana seems to have it all, privileged upbringing, starting law school in fall, and her own beautiful apartment in the city. But the one thing she yearns for is the love of her life, Ryan Pierce, who disappeared without a trace 5 years earlier. When he turns up on stage as 'Jack The Stripper', her world is turned upside down. Ryan has secrets that he has kept from Alana. But now that he has found her again, he will stop at nothing to keep her. Ryan & Alana work hard to resolve their issues and make compromises in their lives to be together. But there are those who work to keep them apart and it might be for good this time. This refreshing and updated forbidden romance is a true gem. Alana and Ryan are both strong, caring, and loyal. They are so perfect together and their chemistry is explosive. This story is also filled with intriguing secondary characters, supportive, & adversarial, that make it feel genuine and honest. There are a few twists and turns that kept me engaged and anxious to see what happens next.

Brooke Bloomingdale was so much fun to listen to. I loved her inner thoughts before her statements, they beautifully conveyed Alana's true feelings before she put on her game face. Bloomingdale easily differentiated between all the characters and I was completely lost in this story. She had me in tears at the end for one especially emotional climatic scene and it was pure perfection.

I highly recommend this emotional, sweet & sexy romance!

Great listen!

An emotional, sexy and angsty second chance romance which tugged at my heart strings! I loved that Ryan and Alana were so committed to each other despite all the obstacles like his occupation, her father and his family, standing in their way.
