Publisher's summary

Two love matches made. One to go.

Even though two of his best friends have settled down, Wes Lancaster is determined not to get sucked into some siren's web. As owner of the professional football team the New York Mavericks and the wildly successful BAD restaurant, his lifestyle is full as it is.

Well, it was, until Winnie Winslow - the new sexy, stiletto-wearing team physician - trash-talks him in the locker room without batting an eye. Now he can't stop himself from wanting her.

The only girl in her parents' brood of five, she's as outspoken as she is beautiful and the kind of woman who holds her own - and then some.

Always competitive at heart, if he's going all in for love, Wes sure as hell wants a win-win.

Prepare to get a little dirty, because this one might go into overtime. Game on.

Less humor more substance

This book, in the series, is definitely not as funny as the last one but, the storyline had more depth. Mixed in with the developing relationship between the H/h, is a relationship between the Hero and the six year old daughter of the Heroine. Now, in previous books, Wes (hero) has made disparaging remarks about dating woman with children. However, this little girl has Wes' heart in the palm of her little hand. This little girl suffers from Autism , and even though she is high functioning , the challenges of developing a relationship between our Hero and this Autistic girl. At the Climax of the story, our Billionaire Bad boy admits that this woman and her daughter taught him how to be a better man. (sob, sob)

One big disappointment is that the novellas that were written and intended to blend one bad boy's story, into the next, are not available in audio form. It is evident, from the novels that important stuff happens and it does take away from the plot of the novels. ''
All in all, This whole series is an enjoyable experience and I recommend it greatly.

Just keeps getting better and better

I loved Wes & Winne's story! These two have great chemistry! I love Lexi and the relationship between Wes and her. This book was super sweet and SO Hot! I laughed a lot whenever the girls from this series were together. I hope there is more to come from this author on audio!

Great Narration! I loved that they have different narrators for each book since each book is about different characters.

This series is a MUST READ for contemporary romance lovers.

⭐⭐4⭐⭐

The story was good but...
the way Maxine Mitchell told the whole story more in her head, and only spoke to Joe Arden actually 1/8 of the time, made me crazy! 😒
But they did do a good job. Just wish there were more banter back and forth between them... and a whole lot more SEX 😘
Otherwise I liked the story.

Love Wes and Win

This story is sweet and about the fun times billionaire finding what he truly wants in life. Unlike Tapping and Banking, Georgie’s obnoxious influence is minimal.
It’s a sweet story about a guy who didn’t think he was cut out for a family and a lady who didn’t think she could trust.
There’s one chapter from Win where you want to roll your eyes (she never said she loved him and spent months making him prove himself without any reciprocal relationship, and yet gets pissed off that he doesn’t continue his undying devotion without her encouragement, and honestly i skipped most of her self righteous rage), but otherwise a fun and light hearted read about a playboy billionaire who falls for a doctor and her autistic child (although she’s high functioning and seems to have semi- normal interaction with most people).

Loved everything!

This story was great!! My 1st story by Max Monroe, and I loved that the FMC was in no way a damsel needing saving, nor was the MMC overly alphahole (as some billionaire stories tend to go), and I loved every minute of it. I know I'm locked in if I get really angry at one, or both, of the characters, and there were times where I was mad at each of them and literally yelling at them for their actions, lol. Once again, Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden bring all the feels to these characters, making it hard to not love the characters and be impressed by the talent it takes to portray multiple characters and truly have them be easily identifiable every time. This story was well rounded, the characters were intriguing, the spice was SPICING, and I went through all the emotions, making the HEA even that much more rewarding!

3.5 Scoring the Billionaire Stars

I am enjoying the heck out of this series! That said this one isn't my favorite of the series but I am glad I read it.

I was and am a big fan of Wes, Winnie though she just didn't do it for me. I don’t really know why, she was a fine character I loved her relationship with her daughter.

I love the relationship Wes develops with Win’s daughter, and the other characters in the book. Especially her brothers those cracked me up.

I don’t maybe it’s a fact that the narrator for Winnie was just not who I pictured in my head. Weird I know because I actually enjoy Maxine’s other works.

It just didn't work for me; I very much enjoyed Joe Arden’s performance of Wes. Aces he brings him to life for me.

Still very glad I read this story I have wanted Wes’s story since book 1!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
