emotional

absolutely hands down my favorite. This one is filled with so so many emotions. I love it

this was just...okay!!

thus was a quick listen. the story was okay. honestly I may have been more into the story had the narration nit been so bad. the male narrators female voice sounds like the trickster voice from tiktok. annoying as hell. the female narrator male voice sounded like it hurt. all in all it was just okay.

Great storyline.

The male voice was great until… his female voice was irritating and seemed condescending. He should just read. Great voice for straight narration.

Classic Struggle for Acceptance & Love

It was a good story. I wish there was more about her previous life. Not too much angst. Nothing gross. And the heat level wasn’t overdone.

A rare DNF.

Wow…The dialogue, story, male narrator. 😳An absolute hot mess express. 700+audiobooks and I DNF about 2%..I’m pretty forgiving. This book is bad from every angle.

I hate to but I have to agree about the male narrator

The story itself was ok. It was hard to get past male narrator. I listen to audiobooks frequently and love this author but he made the book hard to believe. The strong male that he was reading for didn’t fit and his version of female was rough. I’m going to move on to the second book because its narrators are different.

The story was good

This story was good. The performance of the narrator’s wasn’t my favorite, and when they narrated the opposite gender it sounded very off. They weren’t bad but didn’t add anything to the chemistry of the main characters. It was still worth the listen.

Only downside in narration

This was a very emotional story. The only issue I had was with the male narrator portraying the female characters. I knew that was coming so I was prepared for it and got through the book.

The Narrators were ehh

I wanted to like this book but the narrators ruined it. The plot was good but this is one I should’ve read vs. listened to.

Male narrator’s female voices are just that bad

I rarely write reviews. Unfortunately I have to agree with so many. The male voice is nice for the main male voices. His voice for female characters is horrific! There is no way to take it seriously. I powered through to see what happens but I won’t listen to anymore that he narrates if he’s doing female voices.
