Publisher's summary

Jack "Preacher" Prior is at a crossroads - literally. Left for dead in the Badlands, he's managed to survive. He's stolen a truck, but where can he go? Body broken, mind reeling from betrayal by his own MC brothers, he knows he won't last a day back in Rapid City in his current condition.

Erin Walker is at a crossroads of her own. Dealt a bad hand by being the daughter of Buck Walker, ex-rodeo champ, she's made her own way in the world without his help. She owns Thunder Ridge Ranch outright, and she's carved out a piece of paradise for herself with her own two hands. She's not giving it up without a fight, but she's alone in the world, with no one to trust.

In Erin, Preacher finds something that doesn't exist in his own world: a smart, fierce, independent woman who sets his blood on fire. For Erin, the mysterious man who threatens her life might very well be the only one who can save it.

Contains mature themes.

Fantastic Read, or Audio Book, I loved it.

Had listened the whole (Burnout series) prior to this one, so I new of Jack (Preacher) Prior. Was unsure if I would like it. To my dismay this book was fantastic. To listen as Jack transforms is great. I had a few tearful moment. He had a lot of intimate moments he had to get past with Erin. I found it very intriguing how he related his past life, that he was just getting out out as being dirty, he related that he never did certain intimate moments to Erin, she was shocked and hurt, but with in moments after hearing her mutter why she thought he would do the things, he thought about how she reminded him of everything that was clean and pure, and when he went to her and admitted he had never did it, she told him how, and he was just lost i. her afterwards, I just thought it was such a fantastic story, I actually loved it so much I love to see it as a movie, especially just to see when he goes in the chicken coop to get the eggs, snd the rooster goes after him, I laughed my butt off.

Im my opinion this is a great book. I absolutely loved the Burnout Series, they where fantastic also. Though you don't need to listen to the Burnout series to understand this book, I just always think its great when you already know other people that are brought in.
Again great book, totally worth the credits. 😀👍

Credit worthy. West is back on track

I thoroughly enjoyed Preacher I almost did not download because the last few books by this author were rather disappointing and dark. I loved this book as much as I loved Shooter. Download it you will not be disappointed. The characters are well-developed and easy to route for and love

I have enjoyed reading about all the Burnout men and their women. Preacher turned out to be a great addition!

Fantastic

I really enjoyed this book and the turn around for Jack. It really completed the prior series. The story line and all were fantastic and I really enjoyed the narrator. Five stars!!!

Wonderful

I usually don’t like audio books that are 6 hrs or longer as they tend to drag but this one was so worth it great narration and fantastic story line. Will definitely listen again in the future. I like how Dahlia kept throwing hints of Preacher in the pervious books but never thought it would b this good. I would recommend this to anyone wanted to follow a sinner to winner.

Better than the Burnout Series

Great spin off from the Burnout Series. Mason Lloyd's narration is perfect and embraces each unique character flawlessly.

FANTASTIC BUT DIFFERENT THAN THE EX RANGERS

Here we're back in Rapid City where we're catching up where we're with Rapid City's MC President Jack 'Preacher' Prior's Club Brothers get to him before he puts his plan in action.
He's battered & literally at death's door when he comes across Thunder Ridge Reanch owned by horse (I'll say) whisperer Erin Walker.
He at first stays hidden to her, until he sees that she nearly gets attacked. And here we see the start to the end of Jack's MC's days over.
It's a beautiful slow but quick turnaround as Jack is becoming a horse rancher alongside Erin in the 18 mths he's been living at the ranch.
But then things changes when a couple of the MC men turn up & Jack decides he has to go back & finish off EVERYTHING from his past...
Another Great Episode

Enjoyable and my favorite book so far

Although I enjoyed the Burnout series, my least favorite book was Tex, I've enjoyed all for the most part, but Preacher was my favorite even though it's not part of Burnout, it included the Burnout characters, whom I really love. Thanks for a great story with Preacher, seeing where he was and where he went was very enjoyable and clever twists and turns. The story had funny moments and great hot sex, but there was always a plot. Gotta love a bad man who knows he's bad but becomes a decent person in the end.

SUNSHINE WHEN THE DUST CLEARS

Would you listen to Preacher again? Why?

Already have and will listen again. A strong but broken man meets a woman who makes him want to be a better man, just by being herself.

What about Mason Lloyd’s performance did you like?

He "is" the series. His performance clearly separates each character, while giving voice to each one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

Dalia, you have it going on. I have them all but have two more to listen to. However, I don't know where you stand one this...but...would it be possible for one of the MCs to fall for a chocolate, brown-eyed AA female. It might shake them up a bit, but really the guys don t seem to have a problem if a woman makes their brother happy. Ehhh, a girl can dream. I would listened to any of your story with that element...especially if you have the same narrator.
