Publisher's Summary

I don't trust easily. I've been burned too many times, and my cheating ex-boyfriend finally has me swearing off men forever. But forever doesn't last long, because the first time I see him at a party, he takes my breath away, along with my good sense.

Lewis isn't only gorgeous - he's a protector, an athlete, and the kind of quietly powerful guy who draws people to him. He's also in a relationship and off-limits.

Though looks can be deceiving. What I thought was a relationship might not be. Whatever it is Lewis has with this other girl, it's complicated, and I don't want to get dragged down. That should make it easy for me to stay away from him. And it does. Until he makes me an offer I can't refuse.

Lewis volunteers to train me for a gritty endurance race I hope will build my self-esteem, but as soon as we start spending time together, we approach the thin line between friendship and something more. I've always been shy, yet somehow this guy has me thinking naughty thoughts. And in my daydreams I'm tempted to act on them.

Despite the logical, safe reasons I should stay away from Lewis, I'm afraid he's the one guy this good girl can't resist.

TOO YOUNG ADULT FOR ME

Any additional comments?

There was a good start to this book however five hours in and it's still on the same bland track. Its a good book for YA but not what I expected. The preview was very very misleading. I'm skeptical about getting any of the others in the series.

Captivating NA Romance

Would you listen to Blue Crush again? Why?

I would definitely listen to this again not only for the story but Charlotte North's performance had me captivated from start to finish.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blue Crush?

The most memorable moment was when Gen had her revelation that she was strong enough to stand up for herself not only physically but mentally.

What about Charlotte North’s performance did you like?

I loved her performance. This is the first time I've listened to her and I was drawn in from the very start. Her inflections were perfect, she smoothly moved from one character to the next and I was never confused on who was speaking.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Gen and Lewis were a fun couple with good chemistry. There was some drama, both good and bad that kept me turning the pages and the Lake Tahoe location is a fun setting.

Not Bad

Enjoyed this book as much as the first on. with the exception of Mira. Her way of thinking and how she treated Lewis whenever he was interested in anoth girl was a bit much for me. Also, I wish that some of the books offered the male's POV (unless there will be another set soon to come that does), then I'm game!

My favorite of the series

This is the 3 book of this series that I have listened to. I listened tothe 5th by mistake. Overall, a pretty good story. and I really liked Louis and Jen. you can definitely feel the heat and chemistry between them. I feel the author did go a little deeper with them and create a more passionate story as compared to the others in the series. The narrator is by far better than the first two narrator and has an easy voice through to listen to. I would recommend the series. in reality, I would probably give this 4.5 stars.

Not as Pleased as I thought I'd have Been

Tge main character in Book One was interesting but tolerable at best. The way the main character in this book was just pathetic. It's no secret that there are people out there who suffer from the things Gen does, but my word, this one was just an unnecessary overload. The worst part, I'm not even half way through and I'm struggling to finish it already. Gen had a better character portrayal from Book One than she does in this Book.

However, the story turned out positive in the end, so that was good. I'm glad she eventually overcame her hickups and faced life head on.

So many story lines missing

The aurthor wrote well but she starts you down some story lines that she doesn't expand on and pretty much leaves them open. I wish I could tell you to skip this book but in order to understand the back stories for the next in the series you should probably read this. this isn't really a standalone story
