Publisher's Summary

Eleanor Briggs just can't help herself. The sight of the man in the high-rise across the street is driving her wild. She longs to feel his touch up close and personal. To win him over, she'll need to shake off her wallflower sensibilities and become the seductress she never imagined she could be. The only trouble will be finding the perfect way to meet him.

Sex is easy for millionaire entrepreneur Trey Riordan. Finding something of substance, however, seems impossible. That is, until a simple night of reading at a local coffee shop becomes something far steamier when a beautiful brunette comes by and leaves a note telling him to look out his bedroom window at 11 o'clock. But when the time comes, neither of them will be truly ready for what follows.

I'M GLAD I LOOKED INSIDE THIS SIZZLING ROMANCE

Eleanor had a fantasy man living in the Penthouse across from her and she has been voyeuristically watching him or a year.. watching him having kinky sex, watching him casually and confidentially move around his bedroom and, as she watched him, she longed to be the next woman whose tied to his bed. But, in Eleanor's mind, she was just a boring Museum Librarian.. until she started to wear her sister's sexy clothes and then she came up with a devious plan to seduce her fantasy man.. one Trey Riordan her successful charismatic sexy high rise neighbor. However, Eleanor wasn't prepared for the sizzles, the sparks, the chemistry and the very human man that she met when her fantasy life and real life fused together.

Trey wasn't having any luck with women.. oh he could get them easily enough and sex wasn't the issue.. but there was something missing inside him because he didn't feel passionate, romantic or energized while dating - there wasn't any substance. So he needed time to think, decided to temporarily become celibate and has started reading Pride and Prejudice in the hope that this will bring him closer to experience an emotional connection. This decision changed his life because it brought him to a Book Club where he would meet a beautiful sexy siren who would lure him out from his interspective ways, rock his world, stir up new feelings.. and then, after a shocking twist, walk away.

They both agreed it would just be about sex - but pretty soon these two loveable mixed up character's relationship evolved into something wonderful and both were in deep. Eleanor's problem was that she had an inferiority complex a mile wide and she wasn't really the bold confident sexy tease she was pretending to be.. it was just a mask to hide her true self.. the boring plain Librarian - or so she thought. Because, before the book finishes, Eleanor will go through a huge learning curve thanks to Trey's wonderful words, pushing of sexual boundaries and his thoughtful actions.. and Eleanor comes out of it a changed woman with a changed man by her side. Their journey of self-discovery and learning was wonderful to witness and I stayed up half the night captivated by their dual POV love story. There were mildish sub/Dom and bdsm kinky sex scenes mixed in with their hot sexcapades, family drama, a wicked twist, scenes where tender feelings were shared.. and a sweet and romantic HEA Epilogue. This story by Beth Kery was awesome and the narration by Maxine Mitchell was, as usual, brilliant and I just love her male voice.

Worth a credit? Definitely.. and a relisten at some point because yes it was, IMO, that good.

Loved Loved Loved Thi,s Hot As Fire Romance

Any additional comments?

These are some of the best sex scenes I have read. No Quickies Here. This book was very well written and even better narration. Trey was very realistic. He says "I don't want a relationship until his world is rocked in the bedroom then he doesn't want anyone else. It's a little twist at the end but we get through it unscathed. Enjoy 😊 😊😊😊😊

Dancing for Him

This was a beautifully written book. Though some of the beauty was in the narration. Maxine Mitchell read the words as if she was they were her words, this was her story and her life depended on them. The erotic scenes were as vital to Trey and Eleanor's story as the characters histories were. The sex scenes were as beautiful and vulnerable as Eleanor herself. Trey was gruff and hard yet she opened him up and softened his edges and he allowed her to open sexually to him. These two seemed so suited to each other once you got past their outward appearances, she the librarian and he the Dom. This could have been a trite and cliched story, it was anything but. There were lessons in love, self acceptance and getting down to the realities of life. While I rush to hear this story I did not want it to end.

Seriously!

Why are these women so stupid in these stories? Sometimes allow them to listen and think for themselves!

Ha e to finish.

There is no real story. Boring. I gave up with an hour left. They don’t really have any angst between them.

Premise is kinky. Hot erotic scenes with dirty talk.

Story and characters are good.

Narrator is okay.

Is a standalone.

Looking Inside

I enjoyed listening to "Looking Inside". I loved both characters in this story but especially Trey. The sex scenes were hot with mild bdsm characteristics (not a fan of bdsm). The story is about grief & coming through it by discovering your true self & finding amazing love and happiness. (I don't want to give away the story line.)

My one complaint is I don't care for stories that use a 3rd person to explain the scene or tell us what the characters are feeling or thinking. I understand why it is done but I feel that it is just as easy to have the main characters verbalize it themselves. I have listened to many 1st person & 3rd person naratives. I prefer the 1st person naratives. Case in point, isn't it sexier to hear a male character coming undone during sex & crying out in ecstacy than having the lead female or a 3rd person telling us that, "he cried out or roared his pleasure"? The female leads cry out in pleasure all the time, so why not the males? Women enjoy "Hearing" the males sexual pleasure just as much as the females. With that said, this book is worthy of a listen.

The narrator Maxine Mitchell was great. I loved her interpretation of Trey's voice, real sexy.

Who Needs a Pole with Moves Like That

I love that this books starts with exposing Eleanor and all her crazy has to offer right from the start. Nothing like choosing your next lover by watching him love others first, at least you know what you're getting. So yeah this book did start off with Eleanor as the creepy stalker but it turned into so much more. This is funny and endearing story of a young woman who is tired of hiding who she is and what she wants and decides to go for it. And Trey definitely has a lot for her to go for -- umm, umm just hotness all around. This is my first book by Beth Kery but I promise it won't be my last.

Maxine Mitchell does an amazing job narrating, I especially like her male voices. This was a very enjoyable listen.

Definitely worth the price and maybe multiple listens.

Wow! Talk about coming out of your shell!

This is a book I didn't want to stop listening to! Take a shy women that just suffered a loss and let her come out of her shell by attempting to seduce the neighbor!

Elenore thought she was a typical librarian type. One day she looked across the street into the bedroom of a man she thought she could only dream about. A year later and getting over a death in the family she decided she was going to step out and pretend to be who she thought he wanted. Her attempts at seducing turned into some hot and intense sex scenes that were so well written. Do these two have a relationship? Or is it just sexually chemistry? Will her lies end it all or something else?

I love Maxine Mitchell as a narrator. I bought this book optimistically and was never disappointed. I didn't want it to end. Being 11 hours long I never got tired of listening and found myself creating ways to check out of reality and dive into this listen. Well worth the credit.
