Publisher's Summary

The first of three novels, Into the Fury follows Ethan Brodie, who's contracted as extra security for La Belle Lingerie when their top 10 models receive threatening letters. His job: to protect the ladies - and maybe find the culprit. The one rule: no fraternizing with any of the models. Having sworn off women indefinitely, he thinks he'll be able to handle it.

Then he meets Val, one of the threatened models, who's just trying to make some money, go back to school, and finish her veterinary degree. As the threat becomes real and someone dies, Ethan finds he wants to keep Val safe, and it's not just because of his job.

Raves!

Any additional comments?

I love all of Kat Martin's books and this one didn't disappoint. The narration was also great. I can't wait for the next.<br/>

Kat never disappoints!

Kat Martin has a way of combining a story line that makes you want more plus the men in her books are strong and real! A disappointing narrator. A beautiful voice for the women but it was unrealistic for the strong sexy men. I miss Jack. Have you thought of using both male and female narrator.

Not bad, but not good either

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, it wasn’t time well spent. I could have been listening to another book or music. I hate to give up on a book once I get started. I have read a number of books by Kat Martin, therefore I kept expecting it to get better.

What was most disappointing about Kat Martin’s story?

The most disappointing aspect of the story was the choppiness of the story line, the ridiculous behavior of some of the characters when they all was supposed to be in fear of losing their lives and that annoying speech in the hospital by Sam about Brodie men.

Did Vanessa Edwin do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, I thought her performance was very good. Her voices was quite distinctive for each character.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No

Any additional comments?

Even though this was not my favorite Kat Martin book, I am going to this series another go by reading Into the Whirlwind, Dirk’s story.

Enjoyable

Nice addition to the Brodie novels. Funny, sexy, dangerous , all things we enjoy in a good read.

All Over the Place!

Normally like Kat's writing. The one was hard to follow. Plot was all over the place. Incohesive!

Another hit!!!

What did you love best about Into the Fury?

It was a fast paced story, kept me interested, edge of my seat. The characters were strong, interesting and believable.

What other book might you compare Into the Fury to and why?

Cristin Harbin's books are very similar although I like her narrator much better because having a man do the alpha male voices makes for a better listening experience for me. Females just can't do those type voices justice.

Have you listened to any of Vanessa Edwin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

About the same. As mentioned above I don't think a woman can pull off the "alpha" voice as well as a man can. This narrator did do a good job, however.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Ethan was lying in the hospital bed after he had been shot. Val and Hannah were with him and he was trying so hard to make them both be okay with what had happened. Once Val realized that she did want a life with Ethan was very sweet also.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this story. This author does a great job with these story lines and I will definitely listen to more of her books.
