Great Potential

This book had great potential, with an engaging lead character (30 something female lawyer) who actually cared more about people than money. Unfortunately, for an intelligent woman, Claire made the most amazingly stupid decisions.

I had hoped for an engrossing legal drama but got a bad sit-com crossed with amateur sleuthing.. Why would an author create an educated female adult character, then have that person act brain dead? Such a waste!

Needed more clousure

Hated that Clare never realized what a bitch she was and never appreciated her man. I wish there would have been a better happyly everafter

The strong woman main character.

I love a multi- story line read. It keeps you guessing. The narrator was very good.

A different format from Linda

Definitely intriguing format. Loved the off again/on again relationships. Excited for the next installment. Next?

Disappointed in Narration

This is a pretty good book by Linda Lael Miller but definitely not her best series. The narrator was so dry, boring, and unemotional that I almost stopped listening. The narrator's voice sounded too old for the character of Clare and absolutely cannot do a Hispanic accent worth a crap.
