Publisher's summary

Boone Sinclair is a hallmark Diana Palmer hero: tall, strong and handsome. A businessman and a rancher, Boone had it all...except for Keely Welsh. The first time he spotted her on his property, he was determined not to let her get away from him. The lovely beauty would be his.

Every Long, Tall Texan gets his woman, and this one would not be denied.

Intense

You have to stop referring to a magazine in a gun as a clip. I enjoyed this story thoroughly. The narrator did a wonderful job.

the differences between ages is sometimes doesn't matter when life lessons make people older than age.

Toxic male lead, young doormat of a girl.

I tried several Diane Palmer books years ago and now I remember why I gave up on them. The common trope in many of her stories including this one is the emotionally constipated, superior, knuckle-dragging male who torments the doormat of a female because of his personality disturbances. Ugh! Spare me because I KNOW that is not love. I was looking for a Western and forgot why I avoid her tales. However, while it is not for me, someone else might enjoy it. To end on a positive note, I thought the narrator did a good job.

I bought this book but only chapter one was downloaded. Needless to say I am very disappointed. Please fix this problem.
