Good story, but narration is hard to in listen to.
The story was good. Shorter than I usually listen to but still a good read. The narrator made me think of Marlin Perkins from Wild Kingdom-not what I prefer in a romance novel.

Good Read
The story was ok. Nothing amazing. My biggest problem was the narration. He made the femal sound like she 80. I couldn't get into the story. I would try another book of the writers, but I won't be listening to this narrator again.

Vintage Diana Palmer
This book is a reflection of the era in which it was written. In that context, it’s a sweet and heartfelt romance. The voice the narrator used for the MFC’s young daughter was like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Wheezy and squeaky. The book would have been better served by a female narrator, IMHO. But that’s just personal preference and taste. If you’re a Diana Palmer fan, you’ll like this audiobook.
