Couldn't put it down

I loved it. I just wished it was longer. That's why I got a few of the others in the series. I'm glad I'm finding her now. This way I won't have to wait a year for a new one to come out.

True love survives

I loved all the books in this series; but this one and the next I particularly enjoyed.
It earned its place in my library.

Wonderful Audio Book!!

I enjoyed the writing and characters. The narration was great! I laughed throughout the book. Looking forward to the next one!

BE GOOD, ONLY IF BEING BAD, AIN'T MORE FUN

NORMAL AND I WOULD NEVER MEET
This a character driven book written by a very talented author. If you liked the WHITE TRASH ZOMBIE, because of the main character, than this is right down your alley. Here is how she describes herself, I'M A MOODY, INSECURE, NARROW MINDED, JEALOUS BORDERLINE HOMICIDAL BITCH. BEING FLIPPANT WAS ALL I HAD LEFT. MY SELF CONTROL WAS SOMEWHERE AWAY ON VACATION. You will fall in love with this redhead. Just like Angel, her family has problems, but she loves them anyway.

HE FKS LIKE A TROJAN
There is some sex in the story, but not really that much and I felt the sex in this book was closer to making love than any book I have read recently. The book is entertaining at all times.

BEFORE I CAN SAY BOB'S YOUR UNCLE
Having a good to great narrator makes all the difference in an audible book (DAH!) and this has a great narrator.

DON'T KISS ME LIKE A WOMAN, IF YOUR GOING TO TREAT ME LIKE A GIRL.

So, So Good!!!

This is a must-listen- one of the best series ever. The perfect combination of great writing by the author and fabulous performances by the reader. This series and the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison are my all-time favorites. This pulls you in immediately and will not disappoint.

halfway to not so great

I wanted to like this one, I really did. But the narrators fake accent drove me crazy. Think Eliza Doolittle as a male vampire..it just does not work. The story was slow going and hard to stay interested in. I won't be reading the rest of this series.

Over Vampires...think again!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this to anyone who ever read Twilight and tell them be prepared to think this is 10 times better. I bought the first 2 in the series on a super sale and am buying the rest. I was over the whole vampire thing but the reviewers for this series were so enthusiastic and I understand why now. Don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

You can't beat getting to know Bones.

Have you listened to any of Tavia Gilbert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first Tavia Gilbert performance but I will be looking her up. She is probably one of the best narrators I've experienced so far in my short audible life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I went out walking A LOT so I had an excuse to keep listening!

A Fun Ride

This is a fun book and the narrator, Tavia Gilbert, is great. So many reviews mentioned that they didn't like her voice doing Bones' English accent that I almost didn't spend the credit on it. She does a great accent. Bones is supposed to have been raised in an 18th century brothel on the streets of London. His accent is straight London gutter snipe and perfect for the character. The plot is fast paced, filled with all the paranormal adventure you are expecting, but twisted in a new way.

If you like kick-ass heroines with love interests that aren't cookie cutter, you will enjoy listening to this book.

A WINNER!

Glad I picked this up on a recent sale. I was hooked within the first 15 minutes. This is a wonderfully written and narrated book. I look forward to the rest of the series!

Surprizingly Excellent!

I was a bit cautious, as I'm a Sookie fan, and I do like Twilight, so I thought I'd take a chance and I'm happy I did. I like the story, the narrator and the pace. Kat is a great character. I'm looking forward to downloading the next book!
