Story: I loved how unique this story line was. I was intriguing, suspenseful, sexy, and kept me riveted. The character development was great- I went through a range of emotions. It was great.
Narration: I thought the narration was awesome. The narrator was new to me. I would gladly purchase more of their works. Production was very good- clear reading and the perfect amount of feeling.
I would definitely recommend this book and would love to check out more of the series.

I was given this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This story was not what I expected. I was expecting a lot of sex and a little story but I actually got a story. It was narrated well and many of the emotions that were presented in the story were brought out. The operative for one of the ABC agencies of our country was a good angle. Being promised to a son who did not like her and involved in a diamond level sex club was a good twist. This was a good switch for me because most books of this type when the sex scenes are being described I skip forward because I listen to books for the story. That is just my preference.

The book keeps your senses going throughout the book. The secrets and twists & turns will keep you glued to the book.
This book covers everything from longing, heartbreak, mystery, courage, love??
You will not regret the read! Or listen in my case.
Fire, the first of the Diamond Club novels, was a fun, entertaining book that I would definitely recommend to those of you thank like a suspenseful romance and don't mind a bit of BDSM in the mix. It was a bit Eyes Wide Shut in terms of the Diamond Club, a super exclusive sex club for the ridiculously wealthy. Savannah goes undercover to try and find out what ties the Diamond Club has with some large scale crimes that have been happening and to find out details of what they have planned next. She goes undercover as Naveah, the daughter of one of the main families, who has been promised to Liam, the son of another powerful family. The thing is, someone is out to prevent this union from happening...
I enjoyed that this wasn't just a straight up BDSM story with a weak plot, which I find that many are. The mystery, suspense, bombs, guns, etc. kept things moving along at a fast pace and kept my attention throughout. Calinda brought everything together really well at the end as well and, well, I just enjoyed it! Lynn Norris did a good job with the narration as well and I'd be happy to listen to another of her performances anytime.

Any additional comments?
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This was a wonderful story. Well written, with the perfect amount of mystery and romance.
Summer is blamed for a mission gone wrong and to prove herself she is given another. She meets and falls for someone off limits. She loses her best friend and her job and her true identity is revealed. Can their relationship survive along with their lives. Good Narration.
Story was pretty good, but a little weak at times. Liked the characters, but abrupt departure of one of the main characters really didn’t make sense. Narration was decent. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
